Hi if you don't know who I am my name is Frized also known as ape, the ape, ape god, ape king, planet of the apes, your boy ape. And I am here today to speak about something that at this point needs to be said and it's been said by other people but for some reason people consider my opinion important even though I don't really care about what happens on this game anymore, but FRIZED is here today to talk about the current state of the sword community and my place in it.
If you don't know my leadership history in sword clans I've led quite a few very dominant ones, clans that were considered #1 at the time they were running and clans that a lot of people consider "top tier sword clans"
These clans include
Hawk Confederation
Gladius Republic
Evolution Imperium
If it isn't very clear MAINSTREAM sword clans aren't doing that well right now, when I say mainstream sword clans I mean sword clans that are known on C&G, the few sword clans that people outside of the sword community can actually name, sword clans are still very much alive in the sense of clans that aren't very known or popular but those aren't the clans I'm talking about.
There have been a few things that have contributed to the death of our community and every leader in the sword community is at least abit at fault when it comes to talking about them let me make a list
I - There has always been an imbalance in the power of the clans in the community, there were always 4-5 super powers and all of us (instead of fighting each other) decided it'd be a good idea to only fight the clans that were smaller than us this is mainly why most sword wars end with scores like 15-0 20-0 people have always picked wars that we knew we would win, there have been very few occasions in the community where legit large clans would fight, but all of us being friends instead of just having friendly wars decided to never fight each other and fight those weaker than us, and it pushed people away from the community. I noticed this while I was leading EI, that's why EI was in so many more prominent wars than HC's first era, and that's why with this era of HC I did my best to fight more than one clan because there weren't really many "superpowers" left in the community.
II - I hate to admit it but the sword community as a whole has lacked innovation, you can get upset at me saying this and go full keyboard warrior about how wrong I am and how we do have it but when you think about the scope of things sword clans haven't changed since 2012 we have been doing the same things and every time someone tries to even slightly change it they're nagged at with this ERA of HC I was going to introduce new raid systems, animations, ect, but I just told my devs to stop working on it all because I realized that at this point with the state the community is in it's not even worth them putting their time into that because there are 8-10 known sword clans left that we'd consider wars with and the majority of clans decline any war they get now adays. We as sword clans (GO AHEAD AND GET BUTTHURT x2) are just clans that pick a color, get a holo with a few maps, a fort, and a meadows some of us try to change it by building our places with a unique building style or adding a few game passes for a stupid katana but again in the scope of things that makes no difference, in the end we're all the same I'm willing to admit that and I'm hopping the majority of sword leaders aren't too stubborn to admit that either at this point.
III - Sword clans (and gun clans) all care about winning too much, this is a game and it's for fun but I've never really seen a sword clan have a war that didn't end due to a "conditional" victory, or because one side declared an auto win. Sword clans (and gun clans alike) have moved into a era of clans where everyone that owns a clan or participates in them cares more about how many wins a clan gets rather than how enjoyable the clan is in the scope of things, I understand people like to play games competitively not just this one but it's gotten to the point where everyone is at each other's throats and it's kind of pathetic to me because it is a block game that in the end when it comes to our real lives (you know the important ones) will mean nothing, it will be just a part of our past and that's it. People need to start playing this for what is is again A GAME rather than treating it as somewhere that we can all come to let our egos flow because we reign superior in lego warfare
IV - Each community (gun and sword) has things about it that are horrible, now there is an issue that exist in the sword community that isn't even close to as prominent. THE SWORD COMMUNITY HAS AN INSANE AMOUNT OF FOUL PLAY/DISGUSTING DIRTY ACTIONS now I know the first post on this thread is going to be "LOL YOU NERD YOUR FRIENDS WITH NICK YOU SUPPORT THAT LOL" but let me make it clear that Nick and I have been friends for a while and I wasn't going to drop him as a friend, there were a few times where I convinced him to stop doing things but Nick and Alex weren't the ONLY PEOPLE DOING THINGS, plenty of other people in our community participated in foul play and it's at the point where someone can't have a war or an event without being worried about it being "hit off" Nick is the most known for doing things like this but a lot more people than him have, and honestly mentioning this here isn't going to change anything but we should all just stop and maybe people wouldn't be so afraid to start sword clans
V - We've been cut off from the mainstream roblox community, this is an issue with all clans not just sword clans but the community simply cant grow if we focus on using the same recycled "skilled" people rather than recruiting new ones OBVIOUSLY THE NEWER ONES WON'T BE GREAT BUT IF WE STOPPED WITH OUR EGOS AND REALIZED THAT ONE DAY THOSE NEW PEOPLE COULD BE IN OUR POSITION THEN THE COMMUNITY AS WHOLE WOULD GROW, GLORY!
VI - It's an issue in both communities but in my opinion we shouldn't be separate, this is everyone's fault. Clans should war clans we shouldn't have to pick a single weapon and REFUSE to use the other in conflict.
I'm not saying that we should all pick up and change and I'm not encouraging you to stop leading sword clans and open hybrid/gun clans like myself but I just thought I'd throw that in there because it's fairly obvious.
HC is still open and being our tech is fixed our events will resume as normal but I am opening up TIW as my "gun" clan but really it's a hybrid, we will train with guns and swords similar to how RAT and other superclans. I've seen the issues in the sword community and i don't care about this game enough to give myself extra work to try to "fix it" I'm always willing to help but HC is a dominant clan in a dead community that has little to nothing left so I'm moving on to more enjoyable things.
HC is still alive and well now, but with the state of the sword community I fear that not just HC, but the sword community as a whole is going to become a thing of the past.

I had a mind set for 4 years that swords and guns both could be used together and separately if wanted
And back then, both sides had living communities
But now there's no point in being a hybrid because your sword events will be inactive and dead (unless your name is Frized) and you'll have no one to war |

i mean much like my previous replies to the other thread, my replies were as nice as can be with my opinion and you assumed we were arguing & you didn't want to read any of it. of course idc if you read it or not, that's up to you, but if you're going to make a thread like this (which 10000 other people totally haven't made), then it would be in your interest to read my opinion among with others about some improvements.
