Okay, so I was thinking of maybe making a Super Smash Bros. Brawl game with 4 players max. where you can just play with your friends or random people in a server since there is no game like this currently. It will take some work, so I was just wondering how many of you guys would actually play this and what are your ideas on the game? Thanks! :D |

Theirs a lot of wip's and none of them have really reached anywhere so make sure to make a good game with new and interesting features. Not just punches |

Why play a rip-off with half the features, a fraction of the quality and much, much less smooth gameplay? |

^ You can ask yourself that with Phantom Forces or any other game on Roblox. The point is that it's on Roblox, so your argument is invalid. But would you want to play Brawl on ROBLOX? That's the question. |

That's a good point.
However you are trying to reproduce an already branded game, which is the major problem here. You'll never be able to get to the same level. It won't be SSBB.
You can tell that phantom forces just like 90% of FPS on ROBLOX are all based of CoD, but it's still different. Some people made a carbon copy of CSS. It's not popular because you know exactly what to expect, but you get less features or they're just clunky because of the ROBLOX engine limitations.

It's an overused idea, although none have been completed. There are several big-time developers working on games such as these.
Add on the fact that this game would be extremely difficult to create and you'd be at risk of copyright if you used the Nintendo characters.
I'd think of a different idea. |

I'd definitely be interested in a 2D Roblox fighting game. Smash Bros theme would be cool, but if that didn't work out I'd be really excited to see a mortal kombat themed roblox fighting game. |
