As Chairman of the House Elections Committee, I hereby announce the official Class I elections for the US House of Representatives.

INFORMATION
The ballot for this election will be released on Wednesday (4/6) at 3:00 PM EST and will close on Thursday (4/7) at 10:00 PM EST. Results will be released on Friday (4/8).
The official term will begin once the elections results have been posted. Newly elected representatives will serve for 2 months before going up for re-election in June 2016.
The House Elections committee reserves the right to disqualify candidates for breaching any rules and regulations or other things.

REGISTRATION
In order to run and have your name placed on the ballot, you must create a thread and receive at least 15 signatures. Once you have achieved the required amount of signatures, please fill out the following part and send it to TheRatchetGoomba in a private message.

*If you do not have a political affiliation or are unsure, you can register as an independent.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) SIGNATURE THREADS
(a) Signature threads must have at least 20 signatures or more before being submitted in.
(b) Signature threads are to be submitted no later than Tuesday(4/5) at 5:00 PM EST.
(c) YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SIGN YOUR OWN SIGNATURE THREAD
2) CAMPAIGN ADVERTISING
(a) Campaign advertisements can only be posted on the walls of the main United States group and political parties (or in-game at Las Vegas).
(b) Only one campaign advertisement can be posted per wall page (deleting and re-posting advertisements is not allowed, the group audit logs will be strictly monitored).
(c) Posting campaign advertisements on this thread or on the signature threads of other candidates is not allowed.
(d) Utilizing federal resources (such as the group shout or city radios) to gather support is not allowed.
(e) Campaigning via Skype and other outside communications is allowed, but creating chatrooms in order to gain support is not allowed.
3) OTHER
(a) Breaching any of the regulations of the real life 18 U.S. Code Chapter 29 - Elections and Political Activities is not allowed.
(b) Partaking in any form of criminal activity during the election process is not allowed.
(c) Slandering or defaming other candidates is not allowed.
