there's something so beautiful about looking at Kyle Field, Bryant-Denny, Jordan Hare, Sanford Stadium, and others on a Saturday morning and staring at nice pristine grass

I'd imagine in the future not many teams will be playing on natural grass anymore. At best it will be like what they use in Green Bay where it's a hybrid of synthetic and natural grass. It's cheaper in the long run to have turf and it won't die or turn to mud in cities with harsher climates in the winter.
