So my two semi-antagonists, main characters each have Hyn-names, middle names that are usually given to children when they're born. Each name refers to a deity and are thought to give them a certain fate. Not all people have these names, and some decide to drop theirs when they are old enough. EXP: A child who is given the Hyn-name 'Nal' might find their destiny in harvests. So these two characters are King and Queen The King's Hyn-name is Zai The Queen's Hyn-name is Yue Yue is going to be the name of the Goddess of Femininity and Fertility. But Zai is what I'm having a problem on. Should Zai be the God of Masculinity, would that seem too...Planned...? Or should Zai be the name of the God of something else? The King and Queen were not planned to be married at birth and the King is actually the son of the highest Earl, not directly royalty.

The god of masculinity can be one of his spheres. Maybe he can form the masculine counterpoint to the feminine fertility goddess? For example: Zai: God of masculinity and fertility Yue: Goddess of femininity and fertility And they could be viewed as two halves of the same whole, or as divine spouses.
