I hate professional sports. Like actually hate them with a passion. I'm one of those that only watches the SuperBowl for the ads/Halftime Show. I can't stand the idea of men in tights throwing around an oddly shaped ball and making millions for it and getting called 'heroes'. It is in my honest opinion, one of the stupidest things we've done as a human race.

i only like a few select sports. especially some of the underrated ones like water polo. water polo is a1. but i really enjoy basketball, its like a form of entertainment, but i totally agree with you, the money they make is ridiculous just to entertain people. playing the sport is better than watching too imo. |

I do enjoy the occasional pick-up game. No lie I actually think watching other people play pickup games is more entertaining than watching professional sports, too. I won't lie, I watch the World Cup when it comes on. I don't much care about who wins, but it's kind of cool watching something the entire world seems to be watching as well. I enjoy watching the Olympics, too. However I just can't get into all of the NBA/NFL/NHL/etc. stuff. The only one I can actually tolerate is hockey.

It's just annoying to me how people act like these players are playing death games. Like, they aren't fighting for their lives, they're fighting for a smelly ball that they drop when they get into the end zone. It really just doesn't make sense to me that there are people who worship these guys and think they deserve to be millionaires for doing what kids do when they're bored in the summertime.

I find it absolutely hilarious when I scan radio stations and hear sportscasters all yelling like a bunch of children at whats happening over a hockey game. These people are just like religious fanatics but with stupid games. I hear religious fanatics on the radio too and they both sound very similar. |

^Accurate. People do all but sell their souls to these people. I always laugh when the fans lose a game and actually riot in the streets. Couldn't they do that for something that actually mattered?
