Greeting fellow robloxians. By the title you know is gonna be about online daters or "ODers". I am here to adress this and try to stop this once and for all. I will be seperating the probelms into 4 sections. Lets begin.
Games
For the love of god please stop with the games such as Life in Paradise or Roblox High School. These games are made for role-play but role-play is encouraging online dating. Now games like Murder Mystery 2 have online daters for no reason whatsoever (Incase your wondering whatsoever is a real word). Wait oh yeah I forgot is not just Murder Mystery is EVERYWHERE! Even Phantom Forces! This first person shooter has online daters! I don't get it but do you?
Dance Moves
Dance moves are now being used for others things I am not allowed to say. A game full of dance moves is Club Sanity. It has a dance move that has a name of what I can't say. Why is that game not banned yet! It makes me sick just to go in a game and to see something I can not unwatch.
What About The Children
Children are going on games seeing online dating and you know what they do after that? They copy it and it spreads like wildfire! Children are playing this game. How can you open this game to them when the game is not ready for them! They are learning more and more and do you think this is what they should be learning? NO! They should be learning how to avoid this stranger danger.
Predators
People are out in the open. Predators are among them! They can ask for your adress and phone number and track you down! The mostly used tactic used by predators is by online dating. Surprising is it not? When a predator is sucessful less people are gonna play roblox or people will quit roblox.
And that was an adress about online dating. I will soon be adressing tix but for now let Roblox reads this fourm post for themselves. This has to be stopped! |

Btw, let ROBLOX leech the bux out of the kids and OD'ers first. ROBLOX doesn't care about the community anymore and OD'ers are kind of supporting ROBLOX by buying R$ to look cool so ROBLOX is with 'em. |

I agree. I say, we build a wall around Roblox to keep out all of the illegal ODers.
On a serious note, there isn't really anything you can do other than report it, since there isn't a way of detecting ODing. |

Wtf is this I understand the whole idea. But lets be real if you take these games down Role-playing wouldn't be the same. I know a lot of people who Rp and know its just a game. And I understand how Oders have gotten out of hand but you can't punish the games for it. They are just games. And how could you tell an oder between an Rper. You can't!!! So there would be no point in trying to stop everything because of oders. I really dont care if you online date. But taking down a game because of online dating wouldn't be worth it. Roblox is a game were you can play any genre of game and taking out games like RHS, Life in paradise, and Club sanity wouldn't make this roblox anymore, it would just make roblox a place that hates on role-playing. The sad thing is I used to rp a lot on my spare time when it was back in 2011 when I was younger and I didn't really know that it was all a game. But I grew up and I'm pretty sure most of the people on roblox have played an rp and played it serious when they were younger.
Dance moves..
Come on dude, half of the people on roblox know most of these dance moves you can not know about them. I think Club sanity is a great place to hang out with your friends and mess around. Plus most of these dance moves are on the internet and we're on the internet so sooner or later these dance moves will get taught to the kids.
What about the children?
What about them? So what if they copy it. Then they grow out of it. And first of all once they see all the hate people say about oders they join with them because they don't wanna be hated on. So really if everyone just left oding alone I think it would die out instead of hating on people because you can't seem to figure out which one is which an oder or a rper. Learning more and more everyday... Thats how kids learn and its just a game to them. Roblox doesn't do anything because they know nothing will happen.
Predators
Come on dude there is predators everywhere. Minecraft has predators but do people leave? No! Its the game they play they just have to be more aware.
You have to think about this issue on both sides, not just one.

Sorry for cherry picking here but it's just one thing that bugs me about this post: "Roleplaying encourages ODing". No, it doesn't. It encourages people to write stories together. Bad RPGs can encourage ODing, but that's the genetic fallacy: believing that because one thing in a group did something wrong, all the things in that group are just as bad.
