it died because titanfall(even though i like it) did not live up to their standards also it seems like its coming back because titanfall II is announced

Titanfall was extremely overhyped, and started the damn 'online only' trend that is so bloody popular with new games. The 'campaign' in that game was a joke. Titanfall could have had such a great story and campaign experience, but, they screwed that up.
