The "It's Free!" slogan was made correctly. Roblox simply meant that signing up, or not signing up, is completely free. You don't need to hook up a credit card, no e-mail is needed, and so on.

Basically they're not doing the actual free to play concept rather they don't get what it suppose to mean and use that term as a bait on tricking players that it's actually free
Thing you have to pay for:
- Currency for buy items for bragging like one 8 year old and ODing
- Clothing creation so you can badly photoshop abs
- Trading so you can get stuff to brag about like one hat that says limited
- Access to "win 4 robux obby" scam crap
- More active places to put your free models inside since you do not know how to use universes
- Be a roleplaying clan scrub in 10+ groups at once instead of 5
- Create a group so you can waste your life pretending to be some dictator
- Sell clothing for you know what
- Create outdated badges nobody cares about which are less effective that in-game systems
- Inefficient personal servers get griefed in 10 minutes for the 20 low IQ "gfs" you got with your waste of money of hair and ab clothes - which are worse than universes which you get for free

Well unless you don't want to be bullied nonstop, you kinda are forced to buy BC or robux... Usually I only find ODers are tolerant of the bacon-hairs, but even then, the ODers are usually bacon-hairs too... |

The free-to-play concept is that you can sign up for free and play there games. With the up-coming players just coming to play games, they're able to customize in-game rather than on the site itself. Thus removing tix's and moving to a more profitable range. Which as they are a business they can do. |

Aren't all online games doing this now? They can't keep up with mobile stuff so they have to raise their prices. (This next generation is mainly going to be using phones and not computers...)

Neither side is right or wrong.
Roblox is a business and they do need money to continue keeping its site and the games up. BUT roblox has shown no ways of losing money or even on the verge of closing altogether. Although, it is optional to buy stuff BUT most things on roblox require money not just clothes Audio, Gamepasses and etc. In all fairness, I am basically Neutral when it comes to things like this.

This game is for building and playing games, so customization IS a bonus -- but I do find it ridiculous that you have to buy ROBUX/BC to even get anything that isn't free.

Clothing creation has always* been a BC-Only feature and it's fair. NBC Shirt Creators has drained a lot of money from ROBLOX [which is why they fixed the glitch (whatever you want to call it) and removed the group] and is an example of what would happen if everyone could create clothing -- also, everyone would just copy a shirt so they could get it for free.

Trading being BC-Only is fair. You don't /need/ to trade, and it's not like NBC can afford those super expensive items anyway.

This is fair and makes sense to give more active places to someone who paid.
