This is the lore for the GCSA faction that was mentioned in ATF 1 and 3.
[LORE] In 2038, five years after the USCPF's creation, the GCSA was formed by the remnants of the US Federal Government. Built not only to assist in the rebuilding of the United States, but also to supply American refugees with the medical gear and food they needed to survive the nuclear aftermath. In its early years, the GCSA had slowly moved from the North Eastern US to the Mid Western and Southern United States, gaining heavy popularity, especially for their pre-war gear and weapons. By the late 2060's the GCSA had constructed it's first southern outposts, built into natural features. It's first functioning outpost in the Rockport area, for example, was located in a cavern that lead to a small canyon opening. As the GCSA expanded westward in the late 2080's and early 90's, they found the major hotspots between the USCPF and CDF to be great places to give out supplies to the wastelanders in the west. That means the GCSA had to the Western states and create more forts and outposts there in order to complete their objective of having a grip and chance in an ever flustered Western hotspot. Outposts were created in obvious spots, such as Los Angeles and Pearl City, but also places like Klamath Falls and Salem.
To this day, the GCSA continues its goal to help civilians survive and flourish by selling top of the line survival gear, medical kits, food, fusion generators, and deradiators.
