Your team played Darcy Keumper for half their games. He went 13-21-7 and goalkeeped for a lot of the collapse. Your other goalkeeper, Vasilevskiy, struggled for a few games as well (although he played MUCH better) and went from 2nd in GAA and save percentage to outside the top 10...
So I think it had to do with poor goalkeeping and probably just a lot of bad play overall by the team.

---#1 San Diego Stallions -:- #8 Anaheim Ducks---
The San Diego Stallions will have to do much better than what they did in the regular season in order to avoid the upset. In the regular season they went 1-1-3 against the Ducks. However, two of those games were shootouts, and the special teams of the Stallions was significantly better. The Ducks will be looking for huge series from their first line featuring NHL points leader Sidney Crosby, Rick Nash, who finished 7th in point scoring, and Kris Versteeg, who scored 36 goals and led the team. That line consists entirely of 30+ goal scorers. However, they face a stout challenge in Jonathan Quick, whose 1.99 GAA and 0.928 save percentage placed him 6th and 5th in both categories respectively. The Ducks feature a much weaker goalkeeper who has a GAA of 2.57 and a save percentage of just 0.900, which is concerning.
The Stallions enter this series as the hottest team in the league, and have the third highest scoring offence and second best defence. This team seems like it will simply be much too good for the Ducks to overcome right now. They have scary depth, with 11 players scoring 10+ goals, although none surpassed 30.
MY PREDICTION: Stallions in 5.
---#3 Arizona Coyotes -:- #4 Vancouver Canucks---
Two very good teams face off in this series. Both of them are nearly identical in terms of both stats, roster depth, etc. However, the Canucks absolutely dominated the season series, winning all four games and outscoring the Coyotes 14-6. Their PP had a 32% conversion rate. The team that wins this series will be the one whose goalkeeper outperforms the other, as Schenider's 2.03 GAA and 0.926 save percentage are nearly identical to that of Ben Bishop, who had a 1.99 GAA and 0.927 save percentage. These teams both have a lot of depth and skill, this will be a great series.
An interesting thing to note, however, is that the Coyotes have only lost one of their last 10 games in regulation. They are 4-1-5 in their past 10, and the Canucks are a lowly 2-5-3. The Canucks still outperform the Coyotes across the board, be it special teams, goals scored, goals against, everything. If they can continue their winning ways against the Coyotes this series will be over fast.
MY PREDICTION: Canucks in 6.
---#2 Thunder Bay Hawks -:- #7 Bay Area United---
The Thunder Bay Hawks features a player tied for the leagues top goal scorer in Tavares, who netted 40 for the Hawks. He - as long as the Hawks - are going to have to continue scoring like that if they want to win this series, as Bay Area United feature a Vezina candidate in Mrazek, whose 1.95 GAA and 0.928 save percentage place him third in both. They definitely can do this, as they lead the league in goals scored, netting 3.1 per game while also boasting the best powerplay.
The Hawks will need to improve in net though, as Nilsson's 2.43 GAA and 0.916 save percentage won't be good enough if Mrazek shuts down this team. However, I think he'll be able to step up against the average Bay Area United forwards who finished 22nd in scoring.
MY PREDICTION: Hawks in 6.
---#5 Gdansk Memes -:- #6 Houston Galaxy---
These teams are nearly identical, scoring basically the exact same amount of goals, but then you look at more and you can see the glaring differences. The Memes concede nearly .3 goals fewer per game, have a 2% better PP, and a 2% better PK. Varlamov has been a much better goalkeeper than Elliot this season. However, don't count the Galaxy out yet. They went 2-2-1 against the Gdansk Memes, meaning these teams were pretty well matched all season. The overall stats may suggest that the Galaxy aren't going to win, but I smell an upset, as small of an upset as it may be, brewing.
MY PREDICTION: Galaxy in 7.
---#1 Duluth Condors -:- #8 Buffalo Sabres---
The Condors are a much better team than the Sabres, except for one thing, and that is special teams. The Sabres league leading powerplay and solid penalty kill could be huge this series, and they'll need to heavily rely on it if they want to even have a shot at this series. The Condors have a 0.22 higher GPG, and a .28 lower GAPG. Not good numbers for the Sabres, who barely slipped into the playoffs. They will need to rely heavily on their first line, specifically Blake Wheeler. He was tied for the league lead in goals with 40. Price will also need to improve to his form he had back in the 2014 Olympics with Team Canada. Without their special teams shining, their first line scoring like crazy, and their goalkeeping having a dramatic improvement, they have no chance.
MY PREDICTION: Duluth in 4.
