SUREEEEEEEE IT IS. A pitching powerhouse? They have a horrible starting rotation. And Red Sox still have Pablo Sandoval on their payroll lol.

Cheesey has a point. The NBA is more of a superstar league. I have countless friends who only cheer for certain NBA teams (other than the raptors) because of one player. And they admit that if that one player were to leave the team, they would switch and cheer for the new team he plays for. You dont really see that as much in the NHL, soccer, baseball, etc...

Doesn't happen in the NFL -Brady -Mannings -OBJ -Panthers -AFC South -A LOT more Give me a break. Nobody hates the Mannings. People hate Brady because he's been caught cheating twice and has an unlike able personality. People hate Cam Newton, not the Panthers, and that has nothing to do with the league "Doesn't happen in MLS Wait for rivalries to be established, did you see the final last season too? Fans were throwing trash" Sports fans throw trash whenever they can if they know they can get away with it. Orlando did it last week. Not special. "Doesn't happen in MLB Red Sox vs Yankees a primary example, however when a legend retires we set our differences aside" Teams are not players "Doesn't happen in the EPL One word...derbies" Teams are not players x2

"no they're not if you don't like something, don't watch it nobody's forcing you to watch ESPN or the NBA" Dead argument but, I watch neither. Thanks. I haven't watched ESPN aside from programming like baseball/soccer/college football, which is maybe once every two weeks, if that. And I've watched MAYBE, in total, not even the full minutes in a game. It's on social media that I see it. But I still get the feeling of basketball and superstars in basketball being shoved down the throats of Americans just because of being a member of the media.

Because of this. The NBA is built between superstars, even the NBA said that most of their money comes from marketing superstars like Lebron, Curry, Kobe, etc.. A NBA team always want to build their team around one star. For example use Golden State. Curry is arguably the best player in basketball right now without him Golden State isn't the 73-9 team. So, people get jealous that Curry or a player like that isn't on their team so they want the player to fail and their team to fail. Also people get aggravated that Stephen Curry is always talked about in every sports coverage site or show, so people get annoyed at that.
