just an idea i made up in my spare time. batholith is a vast land and in different parts of the land different symbols of and element reside. fire to south, water to north, earth to east and wind to west. respond with ideas about this. |

the word Batholith means a giant crater deep in the earth hich is deeper than any other stone and lava- born structures. i made it up originaly for my old place, "Batholith, the realm of flames". |

and just so people know, each element has a vast army and a ruler of the empire. |

Fire creatures:
Black spined dark red dragons with the ability to blast fire from the mouth. They have short tails with plates on them.
burning humanoids with swords, bows, spear, etc. and have horns for ears
Water creatures:
watery bloboids with a small sack inside them that contains a poisonous gas. they squirt this at people.
It's not too original, but merpeople. Whats water elementals without em'?
Seal like scaly things. sharp teeth and venom!
Earth creatures:
Giant moles with purple hair. violent
Humans.
pacifist golems, people made of rock, basically.
Wind creatures:
this is hard...
Birds. BIG birds. a mile long, a half mile high. big claws, big fangs. they make storms.
butterflies?
white bats with legs and two eyes- one big and one small. |

wind emperor could be a giant big bird, that makes hurricanes with it's breath
Water emperor could be the merking
Add to creatures that are everywhere ideas: elves
Earth emperor could be a golem
Fire a large dragon who is descended from an ancient legendary line of dragons, the first of which lit the sun
and we should make gods!!! |

I can make a backstory for the land and the elemens |

In the begining, there were the elder gods: Sul, Naur, Alu, Arda, and Val.
They created the sgiathatch, the fire dragons, the lingwe, the scaled seals, the gonuu, the golums, and the great norsadulin, the giant birds. Then the great god Val, created lesser gods, Runya the god of fire, Shaear of water, Ondo of earth, and Arrna of wind. They created lesser beasts, fire people, mer-folk, humans, and mole men. These lesser beings were takin as slaves from the older mortal beasts. After 10 years of slavery, the lesser gods revolted on behalf of thier creations, and so began the Rohta, the war of gods. The lesser gods triumphed over the greater gods, so they banished them. Val went into a million year slumber, but the other gods refused to be imprisoned. They joined together, and created Sulnauraluarda, the god of plenty. Sulnauraluarda triumphed other the lesser gods, but decided to be mericful, and let them have thier own domains on Batholith. Runya got the south, Shaear the north, Ondo of east, and Arrna of west. |

It has been nearly one million years since Rodha, and Val is begining to stir. When he awakes in the new world, many things could happen, he is a peacful god, but he might want to erase a corrupt world, and replace it with a pure one, only time can tell. (Time which val rules!) |

I have ideas for the lanscape.
Fire: Volcanos travel throughout the land forming a "Wall" The volcanos can be forced to erupt BUT they do so on thier own twice a year. Inside the volcanos are the "Catacombs of Fire" Where the Dragons make there homes. The Firefolk live at the bottom of the volcanos to stop the lava after each eruption.(New creature idea) Afterwards the transfer the molten rock to the Imps who grin devilishly before taking the matirials to create weaponry for the Firefolk. |

I would think each element have its own barrier, rivvers, volacanos, mountains, walls of wind, ect. |

Thats what I was going for. A permanent hurricane around wind. HUGE glaciers around water. A REALLY deep (Im talking to the center of the earth) trench around earth |

the gods warriors are mostly the same in shape, but their coloration and weapons vary due to the god they serve.
there could be an elemetal war raging, due to an arguement over whos gods are more powerful.
elves are much more powerful than humans, who are the least powerful species, excluding animals like deer, rabbits, etc.

There would be tunnles and valcanos, valleys, mountains, plains, forests, lakes, streams, ponds, oceans, and that sort of stuff.

Demons, devilish creatures, can look anything and transform into human.
I know this is over used but this is the only race I could think of. |

good job guys. this is better than any one person could think up alone. im thinking there should be langiages for every "tribe" of the elements. lets try building off of that. |
