Hey, hey, hey, we're back for season 2! It was a season cut short by player salary disputes with the NCAA, but season 1 was brought back by NCAA comissioner Wist Emmert with 1 UCLA vs 4 LSU and 2 Kentucky vs 3 Gonzaga in the tournament. UCLA made quick work of LSU with Han's shooting abilities, and Gonzaga pulled off an upset win thanks to good chemistry between their teammates. Gonzaga took down UCLA in the championship, pulling away in the final minutes to get Jimbo, Pri, and Tiny a title. Ano also becomes the first owner to win an RCBL title.
And now we're back for season 2, recruiting is close to done, and let's take a look at how the teams look:

Boy, you want to look at a team with great depth, look no further. A starting lineup of Han, Dame, and Grab is nothing to mess around with, especially with Kobe, Silent, and Advanced waiting in the wings. By landing the #1 recruit in Han, the best SG prospect since Kobe Bryant, LSU are title favorites immediately, and Dame is also an excellent 3-point specialist. Grab needs to add a 3-point shot to his game if he wants to be truly dangerous, but he is a pretty good facilitator and understands the game well. Kobe has plenty of basketball experience, breaking the Florida high school record for most games played in a career. Probably their most underrated player though is returning PG Vance Game. He's got a high basketball iQ and now that he is finally surrounded with the talent he needs, it should be a fun show in Baton Rouge. Oh, and one more thing. This team is going to get ★★★★★ athlete AlkioniOG by default roster rules. Talk about an embarrassment of riches.

While LSU might have very good talent and Death, Stanford has the best starting 3-4 in all of NCAA basketball. Pri and Jimbo are coming off All-American seasons, transferring from Gonzaga to another West Coast power. Minor, also at Gonzaga last season, transfers after showing flashes of promise but sat out injured most of last season. He has a dangerous 3-point shot and is a potential Defensive Player of the Year candidate. If we're looking at the prize of the bunch here though, it's gotta be #2 overall recruit Obbert. The #1 small forward recruit has wicked handles and a sweet stroke from deep, he'll be a top-5 NBA pick if everything goes according to plan in Palo Alto this season.
#3 - Kentucky Wildcats (owner: VezzieOG) Predicted Record: 3-3

This is certainly a team with great potential. Kentucky was coasting through last season before their tournament game against Gonzaga, and this roster looks about the same. The roster appears a bit thin right now, and is top heavy with Vez and Mold, two dangerous scorers, but Rod is a player who's willing to take the maximum amount of reps in practice to improve his game and become a helpful addition to this team. ZombieParish, aka CaseKeenum, is a bit of an enigma, but is a bargain at 2-stars and boasts that he is a championship-level player. Mold struggled to find chemistry with his teammates last season, but now partnered with Vez, Kentucky could find themselves entering the dance as a 1 seed, if not a 2. That is, of course, assuming everything goes to plan.

Um...hello? Is anyone there? Coming off the high of an NCAA title, most of the roster has bolted for Stanford in a mass exodus, leaving only Tiny and Ano from last season. That doesn't necessarily mean the Bulldogs are in trouble, though, as Ano proved to be serviceable with backup minutes last season and Tiny showed flashes of greatness. This should be a very defensive team and one that plays smart, especially with the signing of ★★★ PF TForcier. If this team wants to compete this season, Ano is going to have to get more ambitious with his signings. ★★★★ guards MarioKartAddict and CrossbowJoe are still unsigned and would be great additions to this roster, Mario for his wits and Cross for his corner 3. Even 4-star big men Drbat and Nhlch33z3h are viable options at this point. The point is: while the cupboard may seem a bit bare for Gonzaga right now, the future might look a little brighter once recruiting is completely finished. |
