Anything by Pink Floyd is overplayed. That's why I don't listen to them that often. Any classic rock station circulates between: Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Miller, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Rush, Def Leppard, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Neil Young (rarely), Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, Jimi Hendrix and Tom Petty. Notice how all of those bands are the most overrated ones on the market. Not only that, but they limit classic rock to the bands that made the most stir. Classic rock isn't even a genre, but it's a pretty exclusive area. If I were in charge, it would be quite varied. |
