Triple G hasn't faced anyone because everyone's too scared of him. Now Oscar Dela Hoya is talking about "GGG doesn't want to face Hopkins" because he's too scared, obviously if he faces him and beats him, everyone will blame him as always for picking either shot fighters or bums.
Canelo here is too scared to fight GGG as well, on fight night Canelo goes up to 175 which is 5 lbs heavier than GGG and here he is always doing catchweights at 155 saying he's not "ready for 160 lbs".

At least GGG would gladly fight the mandatory challenger.

Hey, this may sound cheesy, but that sport unites people together.
It united American when Joe Louis(US) fought Max Schmelling(German) twice during WWII.
It united African Americans when Jack Johnson became the first African AMerican to become Heavyweight Champion of the world.
It united America with Muhammad Ali when he rebelled against being drafted in the Vietnam War.
and every time Manny Pacquiao fights, almost all crime stops in the Philippines, rebels and soldiers don't fight, and everyone is either glued to their TV or in a public theater.
The only sport I know that did that was probably baseball when Babe Ruth played for Yanks. |
