Southside Pawn
Founded in 2102, Kurt Fowler bought a small business with little money and a big dream. Kurt aged and had recently turned 55. He realized he could not hold the store on his own. Workers and anyone on the streets who could check inventory and move boxes was hired. He established a well known workshop, selling goods and some services. He earned little cash. Robberies occurred often, and he felt like he needed a new approach. Locked doors, barred counters and marked goods were produced and fit into the store. In 2105, Kurt suffered a heart attack and died at the age of 58. He had two sons, one of which had died at birth. Eli Fowler took the store over. Eli had a troubled past. Gangs and violence took Eli's conscience. Eli had turned the workshop, a now thriving and vibrant trading stop, into a shadowed, yet strong workforce. The store had it's money, but weapons and 'goods' were on limited supply, putting our power at a limit. He sheltered Reds, hiding from patrols. He sold goods on the down low. He held secret high-stakes poker nights to local farmers. The store welcomes you with a helpful and community-oriented place, but at night it turns to crime.
