Guys I think he's actually f**king serious. Look Pop Music is bound too have a lot of stinkers, one hit wonders, and overall s**ty music. And thats not just today, it's always been like that. Because a VERY LARGE AMOUNT of Pop Music is made for the stupid person. The person with the average IQ who doesn't WANT too step out of there comfort zone, doesn't want too do anything overtly amazing with there life, which translates too them listening too mediocrity. And a lot of it doesn't SOUND bad, but is doesn't sound new or inventive or interesting or anything remotely intriguing. But there are some artists that do try too make some pretty decent music. Post View's Drake (everything else before the album is awful) Adele, Lady Gaga in some cases, Mike Posner's new stuff, I hear Beyonce's new album was pretty damn good, Lukas Graham seems too be someone who can carry a tune. I mean I may not be a huge fan of these artists, but some of these artists at least seem to be trying to put some effort into there work, even if it still seems too try too appeal too the masses. Heres an example of artists trying there best NOT too compromise there sound for views. Although not all of them are perfect, or even stellar. Pink, mid career Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, artists like that. P!nk the most (and a little bit of mid career Kelly Clarkson) really can be entertaining and not the worst music ever. The OP was probably not serious but this is the overall argument I give too those who echo this and are serious. |
