Ok sure it's important to have Fame... with Fame comes Money, and with money comes power; still thats beside the point.

Yeah, yeah, yet again I find my self repeating this... THAT IS HOW POP MUSIC IS IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T LISTEN TO IT. With all respect I didn't intend that to be a flame. I mint to convey my message is a louder and more serious manor.

It about the music, yet it's also about how famous the artist is.

Like Lady Gaga she's famous and her music is epic... that’s why she's as big' as she is. Man and you still don't get the big' and bigger' thing that’s shows that you cant make a truth filled argument about Justin Bieber.

Thousands of rock artists are "bigger" than Lady GaGa. such as Rise Against, AC/DC, Led Zepellin, AFI, Thousand Foot Krutch, must I go on?

lol you think the AFI are bigger' then Lady Gaga... xD Billboard studies have showed that she is the most successful artist in the past two years.

Do you know who AFI is? They are one of the most talented rock bands of this millenium. Their drummer is great, they have a very talented vocalist, and amazing guitarist and a great bassist.

So, if I was a small town pop-artist not famous then i can never play good music. PEOPLE DON'T JUST BECOME FAMOUS THEY WORK THEY UP THEY LINE, I BET YOU THERES SOME NEW POP ARTIST JUST WAITING TO SHOW THW WORLD WHAT HE CAN, BUT NO HE CAN NEVER DO BECAUSE HE HAS TO START OUT FAMOUS. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW MUSIC WORKS EVEN THE LOWEST FORMS OF IT!

Somewhat true but if the public eye doesn't like what the artsit looks like they would last in the pop music community. I love Music I know almost everything there is to know about pop.
Mendezio
#18978347Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:29 AM GMT

Music is only part of the pop genre. A artists fame is almost as important as there music. They lose there fame there done.
Mendezio

Example the AFI may be "good" but there not famous, thus making them unsuccessful.

#18978820Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:36 AM GMT

So what your saying is, if an artist is not famous anymore then his music sux automatically?
Mendezio
#18979140Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:40 AM GMT

Somewhat there music may be good but there not popular so no one will play there music. On a pop radio station you will only here songs from people that are famous at the moment.

#18979223Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:42 AM GMT

Trust me I’ve heard one time twice in the last 15 minutes.

#18979364Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:44 AM GMT

No offense but you sound that the only reason why people make music is to make money. People don't make music to make money, people make music to make music. If I was a musician I would only ask for recognition of my work not for album sells and fame.
Mendezio
#18979505Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:46 AM GMT

Then you wouldn't be a pop artist now would you?
Mendezio
#18979683Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:48 AM GMT

When some one likes your music allot they're more then happy to buy your stuff. People think pop isn't complex yet the music is only part of it.
Bingoboy232
#18979806Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:50 AM GMT

I don't think pop is complex, you don't play an instrument, Well atleast in todays pop you don't.
Mendezio
#18980074Sunday, January 03, 2010 3:54 AM GMT

The vocals take the place of the instruments. BWT yes they do play instruments but not like Rock bands do. There are Instruments allong with computer beats. Listen to Speechless by Lady Gaga and listen for instruments.
