All ranks should read this Manual to know the commands, failure to do so will result in a demotion. -Section one- Musket commands Shoulder arms (Carry your weapon over your shoulder, used for patrolling: F Slope arms (Used for patrolling.): G Make ready (Ready your musket to shoot.): H Present arms (Salute to a HR/HC.): J Order arms (A non-hostal way of guarding.): T Port arms (A hostal way of guarding.): N Ground arms (Drop your musket.): 1 Pick up arms (Pick up your musket): 1 Present (Aim your musket.): F (Or H if in make ready.) Stab (Stab the enemy with the bayonet.): E -Section two- Musket drills Fire: Only shoot once, don't reload unless told. Fire at will: Shoot as many times as you want until the commanding officer says "CEASE!" no order to reload is needed. Volley fire: All units have to fire at the same time, don't reload unless told. Ripple fire: Units fire from file to file from either left or right, depending on the commanding officer's choice, don't reload unless told. Fire and advance: Units must go into stagger formation, when told the front row fires, back row moves forward while front row reloads, when front row (Now the back row.) finishes reloading, back row (Now the front row.) fires, this continues until the commanding officer says "CEASE!" No order to reload is needed. -Section three- Drills Attention: All units stop talking and stand still and await further orders. Stand easy: All units can look around but remain silent. Rest: All units can speak, look around but remain in formation. Left face: Turn 90 degrees to the left. Right face: Turn 90 degrees to the right. About face: Turn 180 degrees. Left incline: Turn 45 degrees to the left. Right incline: Turn 45 degrees to the right. Centre face: Face the commanding officer. Control face: Look at and follow (By looking.) the commanding officer no matter where he goes to. Adress gaps: Fill in the gaps in the formation, units must not adress gaps unless told. -Section four- Formations STS: Means Shoulder To Shoulder, this is also known as line formation. Stagger: The commanding officer numbers the units 1 and 2, units with the number 2 step back five paces. Square: Units must make a square around the commanding officer to protect him/her from cavalry units. Arrow head: Units must make a V shaped formation on the commanding officer. Wedge: Almost like arrow head but one unit is in the middle of the V shape. (When there's an odd amount of units.) All ranks must read this manual, it's important.
