well back when there was a front page for clans (why the hell did they remove that) FEAR was always on top, so every time a newbie would find themselves on the page they'd see FEAR at the top, assume it must be good since it has so many members, and then join
it's why superclans have always been so terrible in terms of average member skill. the vast majority of them are either completely inactive or have the aim and attention span of a front page gamer. we're talking like 95% of their memberbase here |
