Modest or Timid Charizard Y?

i cant decide.. like really a modest charizard y would just be overkill don't you think? i mean 159 base sp atk +50% power in fire moves is already more than enough to absolutely destroy opponents, plus being modest would raise that even more but doesnt it seem a bit redundant? like isnt 159 more than enough? idk, you never know a pokemon might just be able to tank it.. timid would be really useful to outspeed other pokes with 100 base speed stat which charizard absolutely needs to do.. a pokemon with a base 88 stat that has a nature boosting speed would outspeed charizard unless it is timid, so you can see how timid would be just as useful.. so guys please help, which do you think would be better? is there even anyone here that knows what im talking about??

Won't matter, because rain danced gorebyss will outspeed even greninja, and probably OHKO with muddy water anyways.

and besides, Drought + STAB = *2 fire attack damage not +50% You should do timid to make it faster.

timid can help outspeed but speed does not affect evasiveness overall it depends on what YOU want your pokemon to be a sweeper that can annihilate in one hit or an assault pokemon that gets in its move before anything else happens but honestly id just get a reckless emboar on your hands if you're going for sweeper, with a maximum available sp. atk of 328 and a stupid strong flare blitz due to STAB and reckless

okay, i'll do timid also when i said +50% i didnt take into account the STAB, i was only referring to the effects drought will have on fire moves, stab will make it even more op than it already is

@hotfeet i wasgoing for a sweeper, and also even if i do get emboar i'll face a lot of problems like ground types and flying types which are pretty annoying especially those earthquakes
