➤ Starboard (Right Side of the Helm/Vessel)
➤ Larboard/Portside (Left side of the Helm/Vessel)
➤ Stern (The rear of the ship, also tell them that the Aft is near the Stern)
➤ Bow (The front of the ship, also tell them that Fore is near the front of the ship)

➤ Foremast (Mast located on the Bow)
➤ Main Mast (The largest mast that is located in the center of the vessel)
➤ Mizzenmast(Mast located near the Stern)
➤ Bowsprit (Even though this is not a mast, this must be taught. It's the spar projecting itself from the bow of the vessel).

➤ Forecastle (The front of the vessel, in-front of the Fore-Mast).
➤ Weather-deck(Between the Foremast and the Mainmast).
➤ Quarter-deck(Between the Main Mast and the Mizzenmast).

➤ Decept Fire (The act of performing a Ripple Fire, and half way through performing a Quick Fire from the opposite side. Do not perform Quick Fire half way through if your Captain has not given you the command to "DECEPT!".
➤ Grape Fire (The Act of performing Quick Fire from both sides at once)
➤ Vine Fire (The act of performing Ripple Fire from both sides. Similar to Grape Fire, but instead of Quick Fire it is Ripple Fire.
➤ Chain Fire (The Act of performing Ripple fire, and performing another Ripple once four cannons have reloaded from the left/right).

➤ Formal Single Line ( The act of having ships form a File according to size)
➤ Blockade- The "Boa Constrictor" formation. The act of having a vessel in the center, and two vessels to its left and right, to a 90 degree angle. Usually used in mass-bombardments)
➤ "L" Formation, or L-Form (The Act of having two vessels form an "L". Regardless of position, one of the vessels will align their stern, with the opposing ship's stern. Forming an L. This formation will ensure that all sides are secure, used in times of despair and combat.
➤ V-Formation, or V-Form (The act of having a larger vessel in the center, and having two vessels in smaller size align themselves behind the larger vessel, forming a V).
