As we established while talking about the idea, this would be a capitalistic oligarchy run by the SF mainly centered around trade with the ultimate objective of gaining official leadership of one of the factions. The name of the megacorporation is likely either going to be the Green Bay Company or Compagnie de la Baie Verte (which is an approximate French translation for Company of the Green Bay).
As Death has designated in the SF Tradelands Fleet thread, everyone can have a main, non-compulsory role such as a blacksmith or resource collector. Said roles would have a leader to ensure efficiency, and we'd have SFers in power for each of these when we inevitably gain influence beyond the SF.
With that said, we could possibly create more specific roles eventually to promote more SFers into positions of at least some power, but here are the ones I have in mind right now:
- The leader, who can choose their own title and is the main leader of the faction. Probably something fitting for a megacorporation like General Manager or CEO. Their primary job is to appoint role leaders and give instructions.
- Crafters, people with a high crafting level who create tools and materials for the company to use.
- Laborers (Resource collectors), people responsible for collecting wood and metals.
- Merchants (Split into different trade routes), ship owners and crew members who make money from transporting commodities.
- Defensive Forces, ship owners and soldiers responsible for protecting the homeworld and our merchant ships.
- Raiders, ship owners and soldiers responsible for hunting pirates and raiding their homeworld. |

I'm actually sort of interested to see how a two-leader system would work.
Like let's say that all the role leaders would propose policies and vote on it, and then the two leaders (in this case ale and deathrange) would make a final ruling. |

I did state that the primary job of the leader is to give instructions to all the role leaders so that's basically the same as controlling the military.
The role leaders of the defense forces and raiders would just act as admiral-generals and organize all the soldiers, with or without the help/intervention of the company leaders. |
