i made this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz1STvxbteg the video i made is sort of rambly so i'll explain it here in text for anyone me and a couple friends received monetization strikes on some or (in one of them's case) ALL of our videos while some of them make sense admittedly, a lot of others are completely strange. however, it seems as though several different companies all hit us with MONETIZATION strikes on the SAME DAY. this is extremely suspicious to me. there's two possibilities here: 1. a 'copyright claim bot' which would be a hilariously awful screw-up on youtube's part 2. companies have stopped going after the "big youtubers" because they're the ones who speak out and have experience with this nonsense, and instead are going after small youtubers with almost no subscribers and around 10-30 views per video. my channel is garbage and it wasn't meant to be anything more. what's scaring me is that i doubt this only effects me and a couple friends. has anyone else gotten crap like this? for the layman: monetization claims are apparently targeting tiny youtubers instead of large ones now

Lots of videos about Youtube's copyright system, and a "Where's the Fair Use" movement started by Nostalgia Critic, the system is old, outdated, and abused.

@princess they were all short gag videos about various topics i should have made it more clear that the issue i have is not about the strikes' validity it's the fact that several companies all claimed our videos on the same day
