Just let it take it's course naturally. I speculate that eventually food will cost too much, that only the rich will survive, (rich people usually have less children) and the poor will just die out. It's basically natural selection. The ones smart and skilled enough to find their way out of poverty will be the survivors. |

But it'd make it worse. Killing predatory insects would make low-tier insect population go insanely high, to the point where extermination would be impossible.

People should adopt more. It's good, and helps those children that need a family to care for them. We have too many babies now adays and it's a serious problem. You know how many babies are born each week? I sure as hell don't! But I bet a quick search on the internet will reveal that.
The point is, it's a lot. A lot of damn babies are born every week.
If I ever choose to get a child I'll probably adopt. |

The issue isn't about space really, it's about resources
that's not to say we should be self-destructive and enact birth laws.
the answer is science.
science has this unique ability to "create" resources. Basically making things that weren't valuable before valuable (a good example is thorium. it was very common in mines, but was thrown away because it had not use, until people found it was good for power plants.)
advances and agriculture for maximized production of food can raise the carrying capacity of a population significantly.
the only thing birth laws are doing is putting a cap on the number of potential innovators that help the human race |
