═───╡Table of Contents I. Group Rules II. Exam Rules III. Disclaimer ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪ [I.] Group Rules As a member of The Continental Marine Officer Academy, you are expected to know and follow all of these rules listed in this rulebook, along with rules given to you by the academy staff. ➤ You must be on time for a plank. If you show up late you will be dismissed. ➤ Officers, you must leave a shout on the academy's group status to let everyone know when you will be hosting a plank. If you do not shout it on the academy's group status then anything you did will be invalid and no one from the plank that you hosted will receive promotions/demotions to another plank. It will count as if it never took place. Posting a group status on TCM's group status does NOT count! The shout MUST be on the academy's status!! ➤ If you complete/fail a plank, you may not take another one until 48 solid hours have passed since you completed that plank. ➤ Always respect academy staff, and others who are taking the academy with you. ➤As stated in the group bio, if you fail a plank two times in a row, then you will be moved down by one plank, and if you lose Plank 1, then you will be demoted to Staff Sergeant. ➤ If you ask anyone in the academy staff to host a plank, then it will not be hosted. If you consistently ask for a plank to be hosted then any of the academy staff have the permission to demote you by one plank. ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪ [II.] Exam Rules ➤ In the exam you will have 15 seconds or less to answer a question, or complete a task. If you fail to do this you will automatically get that question/task marked off and will receive 0 points for it. Officers who give the exam must have some kind of timer with them, like a phone. If you have nothing else simply say ":hcountdown 15" after you ask a question. ➤ You are not aloud to talk in the exam. If you do talk out of hand, then you will get the question/task you are on marked off and will receive 0 points for it. However, if the officer giving the exam asks you a question, or you get confused about a question, you may ask something to them, as long as the answer to the exam question is not given, nor hinted. ➤ If you need to go AFK during the exam it will not count off against you, but make sure you vividly say "AFK." to the officer giving the exam. Going AFK and not doing so will get the question/task you are on marked off and you will receive 0 points for it. ➤ If you leave the exam for whatever reason, it will be counted out and you will have failed it, no matter how far through it you were. Unless you come back within a minute and a half, you will have to retake the plank. Also, the rule stated in part one of this rulebook is applied here. You only get two shots at a plank, so don't leave during the exam!! (If you disconnect, or your PC shuts down them make sure to tell the officer giving you the exam. If this happens you will simply have to start the exam over if you rejoin after the time stated earlier.) If you rejoin before the stated time, you can carry on with the exam. If there is any issues with this please tell the Head of the Academy or the Academy Overseer. ➤ Copying and Pasting answers will result in a 0 for every question you do it for. It will be clear that you are copying and pasting by simply noticing how it is compared to the handbook. Officers may check this by viewing chatlogs and compare every answer you gave them to the handbook to make sure you didn't copy anything before they give you your final grade. ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪ [III.] Disclaimer The rules in this handbook can and will be changed, added onto, and reworded. Make sure you follow along with this rulebook due to these reasons. Also, these rules apply for staff and people taking the academy. Only a rulebook made or approved by the academy overseer is valid. ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪ Signed, Academy Overseer, Major Hailstate
