@OP Partially yeah tbh. But for the most part they just don't like it, there aren't that many people who judge music on how mainstream it is...but yeah there is a decent sized and VERY VOCAL population of those who do. |

And do you know why I hate everything popular, it's because it has the best song-writing skills and performance out of every song below 2000's. Say it's better than Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, and Neil Young.

Ehh. Never really was a big fan of them. I've listened to Smells Like Teenage Spirit. 3 or 4 times. Their just not THAT good imo. Also in the music video they look high. |

I find their music to be okay. i've listend to Smells like teenage spirit a few times. I couldn't really get into them so. Their okay imo. But their not the best thing ever. |

I don't see anything wrong with Nirvana they have a lot of fun songs to play on guitar. My problem with them is when you see a walk up to a person with a Nirvana shirt and ask them what their favorite song is the response is almost always Smells Like Teen Spirit. But wait! . . . It gets better folks, I ask them what their second favorite song is and the answer is usually "I don't know any other song by them!"
I think the most entertaining part is the fact that Kurt Cobain wrote that as like a sort of parody towards pop songs. He hated the fame that song ended up getting and is probably turning in his grave as we speak as it becomes the most well known and the only known song for many people by Nirvana.
I mean if your going to call yourself a fan you should ad least know the songs
