2002-2009: Probably James Blunt, Smashmouth & theme songs 2009: I discovered Michael Jackson. 2010-2014: Top 40 radio, wasn't the best times 2015: Alternative music & better Top 40 2016 so far: Started actually listening to albums. Started with a bunch of 2015 albums, then went to 70s to 2000s music. Got into Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, A Tribe Called Quest, Led Zeppelin, and even newer stuff like MGMT, Tame Impala, Jamie XX & Kendrick Lamar. Also, I recently got a record player.

Oh jesus I'll go by grade. Kindergarten too 6th Grade: Radio music, sometimes Micheal Jackson and whatever else my uncle would listen too (I also LOVED Brittany Spears XD). But I progressed into better Top 40 music. 7th Grade-8th Grade: Just going all over the place with alternative (tbh starting with Buttrock like Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace xD)

I went from being an edgy kid in middle school that listened to hollywood undead, system of a down, linkin park, panic at the disco, mcr and stuff like that to liking David Bowie so I think I've evolved well

I've liked Pop my entire life. I recently (2 years ago) started listening to folk punk. Lobstery, God of Infinite Wisdom and Cruelty, King of the Pop Fans

Until I was about 10-11 I only listened to music people on YouTube listened to. Around age 11 I heard a Type O Negative song, couple months later I heard Obscura for the first time and that turned me onto metal. At around 14 I went thru an alt rock phase and then at about 15 I started listening to progressive music (metal and rock) and that's where I am today. Type o and Obscura still remain some of my all time favorites

elementary school: switchfoot, owl city, evanescence primarily with some butt rock thrown in for good measure sixth grade: radio pop (mostly katy perry and taylor swift), coldplay seventh grade: indie-ish stuff - the antlers, marina and the diamonds, a little bit of death cab for cutie, two door cinema club, band of horses were my main bands at the time eighth grade: more death cab for cutie, rilo kiley, the postal service, some my bloody valentine, girlpool, marika hackman (basically, more indie rock and the very, very early beginnings of my interest in shoegaze) ninth grade - current: the peak of my obsession with death cab for cutie, shoegaze (primarily slowdive, my bloody valentine, and chapterhouse, though i'm getting deeper into the genre)

2006-2012: Listened to classic rock, some neo-hippie jam bands. Thinking back, my parents are old. 2012-2014: I start getting into new music, Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys. Also really into bluegrass. These basically stick with me 'til now. 2015: More 'hipster' music. Neutral Milk Hotel, Flaming Lips. Also into more rock, and a bit more classic. A bit of pop rock, Valley Lodge, Vampire Weekend. 2016: EDM+Everything from all the other years. Never really did pop or metal, although jazz has always been a favorite. Family ties, y'know.

Don't grow up too fast m8. There's lots of stuff you have to worry about once you pass 18.
