First of all, CONGRATULATIONS if you are a C.I.T+. This is a huge honor and you should be proud of yourself for earning a spot in one of these principal ranks. Now that you have admin, there are many key components you need to know before hosting or simply using admin. Remember, ADMIN IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT! You are expected to be trustworthy to properly use admin and NOT abuse. Please follow the rules as listed later in this guide. You will also learn how to send in class reports, how to host, how to rank up and more! P.S. This guide helps not only coaches, but also dancers! It will greatly aid you when applying for C.I.T! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [2] Rules These are the basic rules for coaches. Please abide by these rules to keep SIU an enjoyable and fun environment. ~No bullying ~Respect everyone ~No AA’ing ~Be mature and kind to all ~Answer dancers’ questions ~Do NOT ignore dancers ~No kicking/banning anyone without a reason ~No advertising ~Be kind to not only dancers, but also other HRs And most importantly, have fun! You earned this rank, so be proud! If you see anyone disobeying our rules, send a screenshot to a CO+! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [3] Admin Abusing Admin abusing is not tolerated NOR accepted at SIU. If you’d like to admin abuse, please do so at a DIFFERENT PLACE. SIU is a mature dance studio with the goal of helping others, not discovering how many times you can blow up dancers. By now, you should most definitely know which commands you should and should NOT use. Here are a few commands that often coaches fail to comply with. ";h" Please do NOT spam This 24/7. The entire server does not need to hear about how your cat fell into a pool. ";m" You only use M for announcements or to host a class, not to talk back and forth with other coaches. “;music" Only the person hosting the class can use the music. If there is no class going on, you may take turns and let each song LOOP AT LEAST ONCE! NON acceptable commands when a class is going on: Shrek, Jail, Fling, Size, Nuke, Char, Bodyswap, Drug, Freeze, Smite, Witchtrial, Explode, Cut, Bleach, Sword, Boom, Freefall. If there are any more that are stupid commands, don’t use them! Common sense! You guys were hired for a reason.You know what's right versus wrong, and what's AA and what's not. Be smart in using the admin as it is a privilege to have, not a right. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a consequence. If you see anyone admin abusing, send a screenshot to a CO+! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [4] Hosting Your Class Every coach must host classes. Listed below are things that you should and should not do while hosting your classes: DO: Warmups! A group routine! Little combos! Partner exercises! DON’T: Lock doors! Use more than one room! Random games! Fool around with admin! If deciding to play a GAME. Be creative, and turn a common game like “Guess The Song”, into a dance game! “Guess The Move” is an example of using your creativity! Please do NOT play ridiculous games such as freeze tag! Also, NO more locking doors while in a class, that makes dancers think they are "out." Try not to play games in class where you get "out"... it's not fun for the dancers to have to wait hours until the round ends. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [5] Btools Coaches, you are not allowed to use btools for fun or building random objects! The only thing you may use btools for, is decorating ONE room for your class. You may also use btools to make things needed when playing a DANCE game. In general, please contain using your btools in only one room. Each room is large enough so that you do not have to delete a wall and combine rooms! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [6] Class reports *IMPORTANT* As soon as your class ends, you MUST send a class report to the bot, ClassReports: https://www.roblox.com/users/104410779/profile When sending a message to the bot, please include these items: ~Time and date ~How your class went ~Any problems with dancers and/or coaches ~Which dancers received effort points ~Any CITs who helped out and how they did The message sent to the bot should be clear and easy to read. You MUST send in class reports, or we do not know you are hosting and are active in SIU, which could lead to demotion. :( Your class report should be layed out like this: Date: Time: How it went: Any problems: Effort Points: CIT: CIT comments: ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [7] Effort Points After every class, you MUST give out effort points. You will need to be watching each dancer closely throughout the entire class. You will reward dancers you see fit with an effort point. A dancer given an effort point should embody one who has done exceptionally well, has put a lot of effort into the class, has improved a lot throughout the class, or helped fellow peers during the class. You may give 2-5 effort points per class. Also, please try to vary who you give your effort points to! Favoritism is not accepted at SIU. You will be warned or even punished if you continue to give the same person an effort point each class. Please send which dancers recieved an effort point to the bot, EffortPoints: https://www.roblox.com/users/104411946/profile ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [8] Ranking Up In order to get ranked up at SIU, you must be active and show dedication to the group. This includes hosting over the minimum class amount, coming to events, helping at game nights, and much more. You must act as a role model to your fellow peers and students. Admin abusing, being disrespectful, and fooling around is not tolerated at SIU and you will be punished if discovered doing so. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [9] Respecting Other HRs PLEASE DO NOT be rude to your peers. This is unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated at SIU. You, the coaches, are the role-models; dancers look up to you. Please be mature and respectful at all times! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [10] Consequences Since all the rules have been stated, failure to comply with them will result in a demotion or suspension.
