In order to maintain a clean and productive Player Trade environment. As there are issues of scam, corruption, and lack of smart trading, this thread is being made. This is fairly long, but should be a quick and understandable read. ====================================================== {[ ๐Ž๐…๐…๐ˆ๐‚๐€๐‹ ๐“๐‘๐€๐ƒ๐„ ๐๐‘๐Ž๐‚๐„๐ƒ๐”๐‘๐„๐’ ]} A trade occurs when two teams agree to give player(s) for player(s). Therefore, there shall be things a Coach must address and do before completing trades. This should be the process of conducting trades before the final settlement by ALL coaches, if they refuse to follow this procedure then they will be at fault for ANY misconducted trades or flukes. (THESE OFFICIAL TRADE PROCEDURES MUST AND SHOULD BE FOLLOWED OR TRADE ISSUES WILL BE INEVITABLE) 1. Spot the Player(s) you are interest in obtaining. 2. Talk to that Player(s) that you are interested in obtaining, before attempting to obtain. If you decide to trade for the player without him even knowing, then things can go bad. Such as: the player refusing to play for your team, never joining, or just turning out the way you didn't want him to be. So if the player(s) knows you want him, and if the Player(s) is gladly interested in being apart of your team then you can proceed to the next step. Since you know he will play for you and be happy to. 3. Spot the Player(s) on your team that you want to trade to obtain the Player you want. Talk to the Player(s) you plan to trade away to let them know in advance. It is also your responsibility as the Coach to make sure that they will be willing to be traded and become apart of a new team, as it is the other Head Coach's responsibility to ask the Player as you would to their Player(s). This way, a Head Coach cannot trade a Player away and say they didn't know he was refusing to join that team. 4. Once everything is settled, everyone is agrees to the Trade (Coaches and Player(s)). Then the Trade will be final when both Coaches make it final. And then Player Rights and Players are traded. ====================================================== {[ ๐ˆ๐’๐’๐”๐„๐’ ๐ˆ๐ ๐“๐‘๐€๐ƒ๐„๐’ ]} - If a trade is made final and one Coach doesn't fulfill his part of the trade within a few days of the trade (preferably about 5 or so days). For example: The Player being traded doesn't join the team group at all, then there can be a reversal once the issue has been addressed to the President. (This can and will apply for teams that do or don't follow the "OFFICIAL TRADE PROCEDURES" as a method of preventing Trade Scams towards people who don't or do follow these procedures) - If however the Player does join your team but refuses to play or perform to meet expectations, then it is ultimately the Head Coach's fault that obtained that Player for clearly not speaking to that Player and asking him if he would be glad to play for the team before finalizing the trade. Therefore there can be no reversal. BUT If however the Head Coach obtains or contains proof of following Trade Procedures or/and has obtained or contained screenshot proof of the Player agreeing to be traded then the trade can be reversed. As long as you have a Screenshot of the Player agreement to join your team for evidence then the trade can be reversed regardless of whether the OFFICIAL TRADE PROCEDURES were followed. As long as this is all within 5 days of the trade, there can be reversals. ====================================================== {[ ๐‚๐Ž๐๐‚๐‹๐”๐’๐ˆ๐Ž๐ ๐€๐๐ƒ ๐ƒ๐ˆ๐’๐‚๐‘๐„๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ }} The Official Trade Procedures are available at your disposal and therefore are heavily recommended to be followed. The result of not following these procedures make you LIABLE for any trade mistakes or flukes that the President handles and has the RIGHT to make final decisions and conclusions on Trade Issues and Reversals. Therefore, no way of scamming, lying, and mistreatment on or about trades and the trade system can occur or be tolerated. It is once again heavily recommended to follow OFFICIAL TRADE PROCEDURES and that you keep a Computer Folder with Screenshots that contain the Agreement of a Player and Dates of Trades for protection and security with Trades. ====================================================== {[ ๐‡๐„๐€๐ƒ ๐‚๐Ž๐€๐‚๐‡ ๐“๐ˆ๐๐’ ]} [ Tips on "Bad" Player Leavings ] As there are many, many suspensions being reported. Many being non-impacting Players, or Players who don't contribute to turn the games around. It is recommended that average or weaker Players be released or not reported in if they do leave or ask for release as they will in no big way be a threat to the team. This also allows for circulation and building of their skills for future use. In summary and in everyday words. If the player is bad, then you should release them when they ask for it or not report them to the President if they leave. Since they are bad, they can use the skill training they can get in other teams they left to. But this is only a recommendation. [ Player Circulation/Larger Rosters ] As this league is big, there are many players going around that have the potential to be future greats. But do not receive any attention. There are many faces out there, that aren't quite yet good enough to make an impact. But have the ability to be an all-star. Therefore, there should be some sign of reliance and opportunity being shined on these undrafted prospects instead of the old "used-up" Free Agents. One way this can be helped, is by having tryouts and treating the draft seriously. Another is by increasing roster size. It is now heavily recommended that rosters be about 50+ in member count. 50% of these don't have to go to the games, but they can be put on Practice Team so they feel as they are apart of the team, receive the same training, and attend scrimmages. It also boosts the number of players that go to regular practices to make it feel larger and much more productive. As server size increases, so should player roster sizes. Large Rosters = Large Practices Large Rosters = Productive Practices Large Rosters = More People Being Trained Large Rosters = Future Big-Name Players Large Rosters = Head Coach & Franchise Owners Gain Recognition(become more know) ====================================================== - President Truck_PowerHD
