Well it didn't take me long to figure out what happened
My cousin was playing with it and he dropped it a few weeks after I first got it(He's 5 it's not his fault :'( ) and the side of the screen slipped out of the bevel. Apple said it wasn't covered by my crappy warranty and said it'd cost 300 USD to fix(BS lol) but since it worked fine I decided "OK no big deal" and just kept using it. Anyhow apparently the wires and stuff inside have been exposed to small amounts of moisture since then(it's been about a year) and that's corroded stuff and broke the phone.
Idk why it took so damn long to finally bite the bullet but

Could be a screen malfunction, battery issues (doubting since its on), software, downloaded a virus, a component broke within the phone, etc....
Water damage as well could had caused it if you've ever gotten water spilled on it.
Warrant wouldn't pay for half the things listed above... This is why you get the extended warrant as everyone usually keeps their phone for a year and a half before upgrading. |

no it's definitely an issue with wire corrosion
My brother checked it out, he's a CompSci major and he builds computers on the side. That's his verdict.
Not a huge deal, can probably scrape together enough cash to replace it.

Good for you! Now you can either way 3 months (buy a free iPhone 4-5 now) ans get the iPhone 7 and use that saved 300$ and place it towards it, or you can go to android.
Lots of new stuff coming for iOS 10.... Just saying... |

use a samsung, like the galaxy core prime
$10 a month and mine is busted like heck and still runs smoothly (busted as in i leave it in my pockets when i do stupid stuff irl)
my screen has around 30 cracks, most of them spider cracks
