The First War of castle Dragonus is when conflict with House Dayne and House Radec began. Before House Radec became extinct.

The First War Of Dragonus began when Jaehaerys Blackfyre, known as "The Mad Dragon" had started conflict with House Dayne.
In King's Landing where as always House Radec had killed many and had conflict with nearly all the houses in Westeros. But Radec's main enemy was The Dayne's.
One day, Jaehaerys Blackfyre foolishly started arguing with Daemon Dayne at King's Landing. Jaehaerys and Daemon argued and killed each other for days. Jaehaerys hated Daemon for ordering the death of Jaehaerys's sister Jaehaera.
Jaehaerys and Daemon argued and argued until Jaehaerys Blackfyre foolishly once again declared war on House Dayne.
The head of House Dayne didn't get involved with this matter since he very well knew that House Radec is just a house full of killers. But Daemon Dayne, like Jaehaerys was a fool.
Soon Daemon Dayne decided to raid Dragonus. The whole of House Radec and some Blackfyre men attended the raid.

After many raids and attacks on Dragonus then came the war.
The day of the war was when Dragonus candles we're not lit and no one but the Dragonus Guards we're in the palace.
During the war Radec Family still stayed in Dragonus knowing that the war was coming. Rhaenyra II Blackfyre the mother of Jaehaerys had gotten reports by Radec Servants to report about the war. While the war seemed lost Rhaenyra walks to the throne in Dragonus and seats herself on it. Aemond Blackfyre is 9 years old during this war and Aemond sat on the lap of Rhaenyra.
"They are still fighting..." Says Aemond. Rhaenyra says "Don't be afraid, I will protect you." Meanwhile in the battlefield The Dayne forces came more closer and closer to the city. Suddenly the dragons came, the dragons were burning the Dayne forces and some villages were burnt.
"I can hear screams" says Aemond. Rhaenyra replies "They are the screams of the enemy." Aemond says "Can we not forgive the bad guys?" Rhaenyra says "You can, my sweet dragon." Rhaenyra then says "You hear the dragons? They are killing the enemy, here, take this." Rhaenyra was about to give Aemond poison, in fear of what would happen to him.
Suddenly Rhaenyra is stopped by Jaehaerys when Jaehaerys walks in to the throne and says "We have won." Then Rhaenyra lets the poison slip out of her hand and then she hugged Aemond.

After House Dayne lost the war, Prince Ullrick Dayne, the husband of Rhaena Targaryen was able to make peace with Rhaenyra and House Dayne. After the war Aemond is locked in Rhaenyra's Chamber because Jaehaerys thinks that Aemond is to fragile to even walk around. Rhaenyra becomes Queen of Dragonus after the death of Jaehaerys.
