"Official News Companies Bill" Section I. If enacted, this will be known as the "Official News Companies Act". Section II. This shall enable any news company to have a standard by which they can be made official without the need for government intervention in the running of said corporation except for the rules. The standard shall be as follows: - Said company will have to have been active (posting at least bi-daily) for at least a month. - Said company will have to have no history of verbal conflict with any citizen. - Said company will have to have shown professionalism through the use of grammar and will not be able to reply to any citizens' comments unless through direct messaging. - Said company will not be subject to government rule, with the exception of C-SPAN. - Said company must be Department of Commerce official. - If said company does not obey these rules, they will be subject to being considered non-official. Benefits of being official: - Be able to attend White House Press Briefings being considered official press. - The people will know who is a trustworthy news source rather than trolling or spam accounts just for self-popularity and gain. - More benefits may be added as nUSA advances. What? The purpose of this bill is to disable the government's ability to declare what news agencies are official or not, and then you write that "said company must be Department of Commerce official"? This is a self-contradictory and ridiculous bill, and is unenforceable due to its incomprehensibility.
