TBH McAfee isnt the greatest, so i could just be a false diagnosis.

I also recommend you don't use McAfee antivirus. Use something with more credibility.

Or you can stop using crappy antiviruses and just go with the flow. My 4 year old laptop which me and my brother uses everyday has no antivirus and no antimalware - Haven't been infected once.

There can be infections you cant see so... take an antivirus, or you might just be sorry one day

"you might just be sorry one day" what if i just boot safe mode and delete it rm -rf /bin/bash/siggy

#191886004Friday, June 24, 2016 2:20 AM GMT

ive seen infections that can even run in safe mode, cant think of any of the top of my head, but i know there is some, not that they are un-fixable it would just be harder if they can boot in safe mode.

I dont want to get into a huge conversation, im just trying to say it would be alot safer to just use an antivirus

i was thinking about saying "use malware bytes" in my original reply but i didnt want people to start arguing about what antivirus is better and stuff like that

I have always used Malwarebytes or Comodo antivirus, because I dislike mcafee for many personal reasons.

yeah download 30 viruses then scan with defender then scan with mbam tell me which is better with photographic proof

#191970075Saturday, June 25, 2016 2:09 AM GMT

Why would I download 30 viruses ON PURPOSE? lmao, I'm talking about daily usage. As long as you don't go to shady websites you're fine going off with Windows Defender.

MALWAREBYTES is better tho windows defender can barely pick up as much as malwarebytes can
