Everywhere you can at least see one confused new player that has the starter outfit. It's like seeing the same old thing everywhere. They don't understand the rules of online dating and can get tricked by the scam in the comments. If we get a tutorial that all players can see once they join in as a new player, less of this would happen. Pros: Less bullies, Less people getting tricked, More people with different clothing, More understanding of the rules, Better community, and less online dating. Cons: I can't make alternatives without having to watch a tutorial, well maybe that is good. |

Let's make a tutorial to teach people how to click the 'Avatar' button

Common Sense, Parental Control.
Everyone's gotta learn the internet somehow. And a lot of kids are doing it through Roblox. And Youtube.
Ehh... Support? Wouldn't call it a tutorial, just a "Guide on getting started"

No.
1st off, ROBLOX gives users 2 messages when they create an account giving them basic rules, including info on scams.
Also, how would this prevent bullies, more people with different clothing, a better community, and less ODing?
Also, every game on ROBLOX is differnet anyway. The only thing similar really is the controls, an it doesnt take a genius to figure out you need to move with WASD or arrow keys.
if you are talking about a tutorial for the site, like what each tab does, it really isnt that hard for a users to figure out what the "blog tab" means. or the "games" tab.

But the two messages are the only times they get to see the rules and stuff right? Or at least easily. But they would probably either not read it or forget it. There's also the help section in the settings tab all the way in the top right corner. The help section should be a separate section, not in the settings section. |

"1st off, ROBLOX gives users 2 messages when they create an account giving them basic rules, including info on scams. "
But what happens if they didn't read the message, or just mark it as read? Maybe less likely

"But what happens if they didn't read the message, or just mark it as read? Maybe less likely"
not roblox's fault
|
|
|
@CastleMore It's not ROBLOX's fault, but they can improve it with a tutorial so the community can get better. |

"Also, how would this prevent bullies, more people with different clothing, a better community, and Online Dating" It will prevent bullies because the tutorial will for sure show them the rules, People will now know that there is a AVATAR and a CATALOG button, and a better community due to Online Dating and bullying since they know the rules. Gosh I think I just roasted you. |
|
|
^ Everyone knows where the avatar/catalog button is, plus people will still call them a noob when wearing their free stuff. Also it will not prevent ODing, all ODers know it is against the rules anyway. it is like ROBLOX sends a message to all users "Don't say bad words" it's not like that will actually stop anyone from saying bad words.

@Chato - I would rather see hundreds of people wearing different outfits, all of the items in which are free, running around all over the place, rather than hundreds of crying 3.0 defaults slowly destroying your brain cells one by one because they don't know how to fly a helicopter that doesn't go and they keep begging and begging and asking if anyone speaks Brazilian Portugese every thirty seconds.

@chatowillwin When people get warnings like that, people tend to stop for a few months or even years |
