I looked through my recent threads, and I placed it in the "All things roblox" catagory.
Also, no admin messaged me explaining why it was deleted.
It's like Roblox is run by dictators who don't actually kill anyone speaking out and instead run over to them, fart on them repeatedly, and wait for them to get tired.
What sucks more is that there is no, and I repeat, NONE free and open source alternative to roblox; the free and open source gaming community is more focused on cloning Mnecraft when a simple lego game rather than a block game may be just what we need.
Technically, Roblox doesn't need us; they could just run off into the sunset with their money, which is why they aren'y hesitant to do things like this.
With a free and open source clone, if that free and open source one has a bad update that the programmers refuse to fix, us leaving and never forgiving them will actually have an impact.
Anyways, I chose to put it in ALL THINGS ROBLOX because that thread is about the features, and tix is a feature.
I also had a valid argument;
I explained that the removal of tix affected free to plays by limiting their chothing choice to t-shirts, a few shirts and hats, and the weird packages.
I also explained that to please the free to plays, each game has to have it's own clothing system, and that now a person who wants to buy a hat has to rebuy that hat for each game he or she plays, rather than buy the hat once on the roblox catalog and never worry again. It's stupid, and tixs remedied this problem. With tix, a free to paly could have gotten any item as long as they saved up. Which brought me to my next reason:
Clothing makers used to get lots of money from free to plays like me.
Now, they no longer receive money from people like me, and in order to make up for the lost revenue, they have to increase their prices a little.
Now people who do pay for the game have to pay even more because they need to
A. Buy (or earn by spending their time) the same hat multiple times for each game
and
B. Pay more for hats in the catalog
Roblox, I don't mind many of your updates (Ok, I was oblivious to many changes for many, many years), but this one actually broke many things to a degree.
If you return tix and start everyone off with 0 tix, then tix will not only fix things, but they'll also be as valuable as in 2011, with the 10 tix = 1 robuck ratio returning, because there won't be too many tix in the market.
It will be nice to return to a working economy.
In fact, it will be awesome, because earning revenue for your game from only tix will be viable again. |
