New Republic Fleet Guidelines
Guidelines:
[Introduction]
Here are a few things you will need to know in the Republic Fleet. This Guidelines will include Permissions, Rules, and will answer a lot of your questions. I hope this forum helps you.
[Rules]
We do allow a little goofing off and fun here and there, but there are times to be serious.
Basic Rules:
Swearing is not tolerated. Use of Vulgar language will lead to a Warning. Further use of Vulgar language will lead to a Demotion.
Do not abuse the use of Acronyms. If you’re not sure what and Acronym is, here’s and example, “XD, Lol, Omg”. During Official Trainings or when an Instructor tells you to stop, do it. Failure to do so will lead to a warning than demotion if continuation.
Advanced Rules:
Do not engage in racist conversations to hurt someone. You will be demoted and possibly reported.
Do not engage in erotic conversation. As said before, you will be demoted and possibly reported.
[Advancement]
This section will teach you how to advance up a rank. If you are an Enlistee, you must undergo BFT(Basic Flight Training). Once you have become a Junior Crewman you will be taught basics of a Ship. After you’ve passed that, from there till you’ve reach Ensign you will attend regular Training. Once you’ve become an Ensign, you must take OAT(Officer Advancement Training). After you’ve taken Officer Advancement Training a Commander and higher will watch you advance to the next rank. Once you’ve become a Captain to further advance you must be hand picked by a Rear Admiral or higher.
[Permissions]
Each rank has its advantages. The higher rank you get the more permissions you have. Don’t take power to your head, though. All ranks Crewman and under need permission to fly or enter the bridge of a ship. Once you become a Senior Crewman and higher you will no longer need Permissions to fly or enter the bridge. Officer and higher do not need permissions to fly or enter the bridge, but they still have to follow orders from higher ranks. 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, and Captain can host Supervised training. Supervised training has to be supervised by a Commander and higher.
[Training]
Most regular training will last about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the Trainee’s speed. There are 3 types of training. The types are, Basic Flight Training, Regular Training, and Officer Advancement Training.
[Basic Flight Training]
Basic Flight Training is meant for Enlistees. During Basic Flight Training you’ll learn the basics of flying. Basic Flight Training is for Enlistees ONLY!
[Regular Training]
Regular Training is meant for Junior Crewman all the way up to Ensigns. During Regular Training you will most likely experience drills, obbies, and combat.
[Officer Advancement Training]
As stated before, once you become an Ensign, you will have to attend Officer Advancement Training to advance. Officer Advancement Training is the hardest and the longest of any training. During Officer Advancement Training you will be taught how to be a good leader.
[Conclusion]
I hope this forum helps you and answers most of your questions! So please don’t be spamming the Fleet wall asking “How do I rank up?” or “can I be this or that rank please”.
