I've been thinking about this for a while, and I've decided to post the complete idea for this. It wouldn't cause Roblox to earn any less money, except at most to a very small degree, but the benefit it would have on players would be huge, and unlike tix, wouldn't be easily abused. The idea is Roblox Credit. This would not be a new currency like tix. Instead, it would be like real money, except in robux. There would be several parts of this update to make it work.
NBC Tax
Right now, the tax for NBC'ers to sell things is at 90%. The first part of this suggestion is to bring that down to 70%. That's still a lot of robux lost, but 90% is rather absurd.
NBC Shirts and Pants
The second part of this suggestion is to allow NBCers to create and sell shirts and pants. I know this is on the WNTS, but part of the reason why NBCers are unable to get money is because they have nothing good to sell. It's incredibly hard for an NBCer to make a successful game without robux, and people hardly ever by t-shirts, even more so now that they have been replaced by gamepasses for giving VIP in a game.
Improved account security
If a hacker got into an account with a lot of Roblox Credit, it would essentially be like stealing money from someone. That's why there needs to be better account security. For instance, if someone logs into an account from an unknown locations, or haven't logged in from a certain location for a long time, then they'd need to check their emaiI for a link to enable them to use that account from that location. If someone's account get breached anyways, then if the support team doesn't already have this, they'd be able to rollback an account to before the breach, and permanently blacklist the IP that the hacker used. If an unverified account remains unused for 5 years (or 8+ years for a verified account), then, while the account wouldn't be deleted, its username would. This means that the username could be used for another user, and unless you have the link, you wouldn't be able to access that account's profile anymore. If the original owner requests account access back, then they could choose a new username, and would still be recognized for originally possessing the old one.
Terminate users less often
Instead of terminating users who get banned frequently, terminations should in most cases be replaced with extended bans, which could be up to a year in length, depending on the offense. However, some extreme cases would still result in a termination, such as account phishing, highly inappropriate games, or users who have happened to become well known for doing bad things in Roblox. It's not really fair to terminate someone who has a lot of Roblox Credit unless they get a refund, so the Roblox Credit can be used for the other accounts tied to their emaiI. If a user tends to break rules a lot on the forums, then instead of their account getting deleted, they would be banned from the forums and not have to lose complete access to their account. Troll accounts would be an exception.
Functionality of Roblox Credit (RC)
RC would work basically like real-world money, except in roblox. Unlike with DevEx, you wouldn't be able to cash it out for real world money again, but there would be some ways to earn it without paying, which I'll get into later. Anyways, instead of buying builders club or robux, you'd be purchasing Roblox Credit. If you were to purchase $10 of RC, it would allow you to buy one month of BC or a decent amount of Robux. RC would also not be tied to your account, but your emaiI. This means that all the accounts that use your emaiI would have a shared amount of RC. After one day in Roblox, a user would receive one cent of RC for every hour they actively played without idling. This over time could accumulate to allow them to by BC or whatever else. If an account of yours gets disconnected for idling, then any RC you would have earned from playing in that session would get reset.
Preventing abuse of RC
To prevent people from abusing RC, it would not be possible to transfer it across emaiIs. Botting would be useless since you couldn't transfer RC across emaiIs, and you'd need to be actively playing anyway to get it. Users who are caught botting anyway would have every account used to bot terminated, they'd lose the ability to create more accounts, and the amount of RC that they had would be reset to nothing. If you transfer an account to another emaiI, then none of the RC would get transferred with it.
Earning RC without paying
Like I said, you would receive 1 cent worth of RC for every hour you are actively playing for. However, there would be other ways too. In addition to selling things for robux, people could also sell things for RC aswell. The tax however would still apply. RC would also have another function similar to how player points used to work. For every 100 robux that is spent on a game, 1 cent of RC would also be injected into it for players to earn. This could allow players to earn more RC just by playing. The owner of that place, or any accounts tied to the same emaiI as the owner, would be unable to claim the ingame RC.
Another use for emaiIs
While this isn't directly related to the actual suggestion, it's still worth bringing up while on the topic of using emaiIs to keep accounts closer together. Some of us happen to have old accounts that either got terminated, lost or we just prefer to not use. With this in mind, all of the accounts on an emaiI would have their join date set back to the oldest account tied to that emaiI, veteran badges included.
Conclusion
Since you'd only get very small amounts of RC at a time, this would give users who can't pay a chance to be more successful, but it would also hopefully not discourage anyone from spending real money on the game, so with that it mind, it would benefit the players and wouldn't harm Roblox. While something like this would take a long time to implement, I think in the end it would definitely be worth the time. It may even end up helping Roblox get more money, since people tend to be more willing to buy stuff for a game that is more welcoming to users who can't or don't want to pay.
