(I posted this thread before, but I had to repost it since I lost the thread and the thread died down). The scamming has been going on for WAY too long and ROBLOX STILL hasn't done anything about this! Everyday on game comments I see this: "I just won 1,000,000 robux from this site! *Insert Off-Site Link Here*" Here are 3 things ROBLOX should do: 1.) I suggest censoring off-site links so people will more likely not get scammed. Yes, they could also S P A C E I T O U T, like that, but it should still be censored no matter how they posted the off-site link. However, Twitter, Twitch and Youtube shouldn't be censored, since ROBLOX allows those kinds of links (obviously). 2.) I also suggest censoring things that were copy and pasted. That way, people would have to write it out by themselves and after a while that person would get bored of writing the same thing over and over. 3.) You know how when you post something and then try to post the same thing on the forums, a message comes up and says, "You have attempted to the post the exact same comment." They should also do this for comments on the games. Even if they do change their sentences in their comment while scamming. Like let's say I said something like "Join my game for free robux!" and then to post another comment I would say "Hi, join my game for free robux!" so I wouldn't get a pop-up message. I am not exactly sure how ROBLOX could fix the changing of the comments, but it should still help with the scams from being posted. We need the mods and admins to see this, so they could possibly make this happen! Even if you guys don't Support this, I think this is a good idea and suggestion in my opinion. [ TL;DR: ] If ROBLOX does not do anything about this, about 25% of the ROBLOX community (or more than 25%) will die out since the people fall for the scams. They should censor off-site links, copy and pasting and make it so you can't post the same thing over and over again.

People won't quit ROBLOX just because they get scammed. They will be triggered and extremely disappointed, but they won't quit from that. Copy and pasting can be enabled via Inspect Element, and permanently enabled using TamperMonkey. What about www.roblox.com, www.twitter.com, www.youtube.com, or other websites that are allowed in ROBLOX? It is the user's fault if they get scammed. I want to be a productive somebody somewhere in ROBLOX.

The best ROBLOX can do is inform the users that official ROBLOX websites end with "roblox.com". It is a lot more difficult than you make it seem to implement something like this.

It is the user's fault if they get scammed. [2] No support. And please stop pushing for censoring off-site links. There are numerous amazing sites not on the whitelist like Trello that the community uses but ROBLOX won't allow. Even if by some miracle you manage to detect and block every attempt at an off-site link, they could bypass it just by posting a site's IP. Don't believe me? Put this into your browser's URL bar: 172.217.1.99 (Relax, it's just Google. Just a proof of concept though.)

The best anti-scam thing I've thought of so far is to hashtag Robux and RS in comments and forum posts, so newer players think they're just going to get 100,000 hashtags.

Nothing can possibly prevent scammers from evading the filter unless moderators literally pre-approve everything before it is shown. I don't think that comments are set up very well for their intended purpose anyway, which is why I suggested this: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=190609135
