Guys, I had the same problem, Just turn off the proxy server, and retry it works just fine for me. |

1.Search "proxy"
2.Click "Configure proxy server"
3.At the connections, click "LAN settings"
4.Look at the proxy server, Do NOT [/] Use a proxy server for your LAN
5.Click "OK" and done :)

Maybe... You have an antivirus, the antivirus blocks roblox...
roblox needs permision to operate, because it's blocked and the error popped up is
a permission error. |

New problem though, how would I keep the Proxy settings off? It seems to turn itself back in even after I close the window. Almost immediately. |

If you're running on Windows 10 go to Windows Defender and then open settings from there, After that you want to turn off the ability to block the opening of malicious software because for some reason it thinks that Roblox Studios is Malicious software, Be careful not to download any shady stuff though because since you turned off the Windows Defender.
If you get hacked it's not my fault

Got It Yes!!! The same problem happened go to settings on your computer and go to network proxy settings look for use a proxy server and turn that off and it works!! |

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was finally able to fix studios. The people who are talking about the Proxy issues are correct for the time being. If you're someone like me, and you're using a W7 PC you need to turn off the proxy in 'Safe Mode' which is accessed by using F8 at your Start screen. From there you'll need to go into internet explorer and turn the proxy off there. To exit Safe Mode you need to type in 'Run' in your search bar from your computer's start screen. [Not where you put your ######## in.] from there a tab should open. Type 'msconfig' into that tab and press enter. If 'Normal Options' is already selected for you; You can exit that tab and restart your PC. I'll enable messaging on my account for any of you who may have problems with this! - Rei Z. No |

My proxy server was already off so I just flipped the switch to on and then off again and it seemed to fix it. ~Just a tip if this is the same for you. |

OK EVERYONE TO FIX THIS OPEN ROBLOX STUDIO ON YOUR COMPUTER (DONT CLICK EDIT ON THE GAME JUST OPEN THE APP) AND MAKE SURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS LOGGED IN AS THE SAME ONE THATS LOGGED IN ON THE GAME YOU WANT TO EDIT IF NOT THEN DO THAT. THIS IS WHAT FIXED IT FOR ME! |

Open studio directly (not by clicking the edit button on a place). You should see a bunch of templates and stuff in the center of the window and in the upper right corner you should see it logged into an account. If you're experiencing this error it probably says you're logged in as a different account even though your regular browser is logged in the account owning the place you want to edit. This is a simple fix. Just log into the account you're supposed to be logged into in the studio window and try to edit that place again, problem solved! |
