I'm talking about the programming in scratch and other stuff, where you drag stuff and connect it together, this would make scripting alot easier for inexperienced people, however it limits the vast amount of things you can do typing up scripts.

Sir, lua is easy to learn by going on a wikia, there's plenty of tutorials. We dont want to constantly see tycoons

Lua is one of the easiest languages to learn.
and by block coding you mean object - orientated programming?
no support, we dont need this, if they want to learn they better do it by reading up on the wiki. |

no support, kids won't learn the basics of coding (booleans, arrays, strings, functions, etc) and it'll become harder for then to learn programming later in life

ROBLOX shouldn't dumb down coding to a lower lever than it already is. If you can't learn Lua, then you don't deserve to have the knowledge of any programming language.
I'm a beginner-intermediate level scripter and I actually put effort into learning. Programming is not a game and it will not always be fun. If you can't understand that, then programming is not for you.

I personally think this is a good idea. Roblx is aimed for kids, and if kids wanted to make a game, they probably wouldn't understand lua, so block to block would help them. Support |

Also, anybody that says no, then they could just have an option on studio to switch between lua and block to block. Lua would be on by default. |

And one more thing: We saw what happened when a new physics system was introduced. Soon enough, the old and perfectly fine one was deleted.

ROBLOX is not the type of website nor was it intended to be where you drag-and-drop blocks of pre-made code to make your life easier. Lua is one of the easiest languages you will come across, and if people who are supporting this are aware of that then this will be added for lazy people. If you want to "learn" this way, go to Scratch. This won't be added.

Lua is a very easy code, this is just a sad excuse for being lazy, if you are learning, then you learn like everybody else and actually look into it. If you want to develop, then you will have to learn Lua, simple as that. |

Plugin anyways, who knows somebody might make a plugin (drag and drop) that uses a custom script window and at the end just converts to legit code and sets to source |
