Baseball fields are fine if properly prepared and meet the minimum dimensions

I agree. Baseball parks just don't look good. Yankee Stadium is so bad as a soccer venue.

You can play on a baseball field and do it correctly, it's just that you can't get the dimensions correct without robbing your fans of any sort of decent view of the game

The Kansas City Wizards played at a baseball park for years and the dimensions were fine Fenway Park hosts European friendlies every summer and the dimensions are always perfect

I mean, yeah, Rune, but the outfield has to be massive on a certain angle Fenway's dimensions are more generous for a soccer pitch than Yankee Stadium's even though Yankee Stadium's outfield is just baseball-sized massive

Obviously it'd be ideal to have all soccer teams play in a SSS, but as long as NYCFC is pulling in well over 20,000+ a game like they are, nobody cares. It's almost more beneficial to use Yankee stadium in the short-term because it'll most likely have better transportation + reputation than whatever soccer stadium is built in the future.

Yankee Stadium only has short porches. The power alleys are quite deep, and dead center is 408. Hardly the smallest.
