“It’s time for change in the Department of Justice, and I can bring this change.”
Right. That’s why in your time as Associate Attorney General, you’ve instituted no reforms, made zero changes in administration, and done nothing but argue and your power for personal gain or for argument’s sake.
“I have been dedicated to improving not only the Department of Justice, but the entire legal system of these United States for nearly a year, during this time, I have held positions such as: Short-Term Supreme Court Justice, Associate Attorney General, Assistant Attorney General, Chief of Staff of the Department of Justice, Board of Directors of the Department of Justice, Legal Counsel to the Secret Service, Secretary to the Attorney General, United States Senator & Representative.”
Right. And what have you achieved in all of these positions other than making enemies of your co-workers?
“My main goal for the beginning of the term will be to fix the current prosecution system of the United States, including a complete reform of our current United States Attorneys and Assistant Attorneys. Being a highly experienced DoJ official, I know exactly what the department needs in this regard.”
>promises reform
>doesn’t say anything about said reform
>claims experience makes this okay
>experience shows no reforms are ever done under gobe
“In it’s current state, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is a “law enforcement first agency” and almost completely ignores its intelligence functions, I find this unacceptable. I plan on doing is completely reforming the FBI, making it focus more on the agency’s investigative and intelligence duties, while also tying in its law enforcement duties to create not only an effective law enforcement agency, but cementing the Bureau’s place in domestic intelligence and security, ensuring its prosperity into future terms.”
...and why aren’t you doing this now? Like, right now? You have complete power too. Go talk to Daniall and get to work on getting FBI involved in intelligence. Stop trying to get a promotion.
“A major problem in the Department of Justice that I see is that we barely communicate with congress at all, under me, the Department will work with congress not only to ensure laws are enforced, but to ensure the integrity of the legislative branch of government, and actively assisting in the legislative process of the United States Government, while actively pushing for judicial and legal reform.”
YOU DON’T COMMUNICATE WITH THEM EITHER. This entire point is moot since it’s something you should be doing either way and something that you don’t do right now.
“Speaking of judicial and legal reform, under me, the department will push aggressively for massive reform next term, including the creation of a federal judicial conference, working with the military to create jag in their vision, and working to reform the structure of the Department of Justice in congress.”
You do know that you could institute Department reform right now. If you have such great ideas, go implement them, stop requesting a promotion to head a Department you’ve done nothing other than use your power in for personal gain or non important initiatives.
“Not only will we be focusing on working with congress on creating law, it is in my personal belief that the current constitution is absolutely horrendous, and needs to be replaced, and so plan to work with the administration and congressional leadership to have a new constitution approved, passed, and put into effect by halfway into the term.”
As said before, you could be writing amendments or an entirely new constitution right now. Why do you need Attorney General to do that? Do you need power to motivate you to fix something “absolutely horrendous”?
“Onto the structure of the Department of Justice, I intent to abolish the Board of Directors and completely replace them with assistant attorney generals, and to give the Department of Justice leadership a much more active role in not only prosecution, but the general management of the department and sub-agencies, as well clearly defining the powers of the solicitor general, and associate attorney general.”
Higher ups in DoJ have no place in the prosecution of day to day cases. They should be administrating those who do - and that’s something that you never do. You don’t prosecute day to day cases either, so why should you expect your underlings too?
“After speaking to the American people, many have told me that they think activity is the main problem the Department of Justice is dealing with right now, so as Attorney General, I would issue mandatory activity requirements for all department personnel, including, and especially, high ranking agency officials and prosecutors.”
You’re one of the most inactive people in the Department. When was the last time you did anything of note or original?
“Not only do the American people think activity is an issue, they think the lack of impartiality is an issue as well. As a Department of Justice officer, I see firsthand the lack of impartiality in the department, so as attorney general, I will bring the hammer down on corrupt and biased officials and prosecutors, as well opening charges on any officials who do abuse power.”
You could fire abusive prosecutors right now. If the situation is so bad and you’ve seen it yourself, do something about it! You shouldn’t need a Cabinet position to incentivize you doing your job. This is tantamount to saying “yeah I see that the House is burning down, but until you promote me to Fire Marshal, ain’t gonna do anything about it. Sorry.”
“I’d also like to announce that if I am appointed, it is my intention to appoint MissIrresistible as my deputy. Her months in the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation not only shows her dedication, but her loyalty and experience in the field of law enforcement. I want my DAG to be on top on law enforcement, and I have one hundred percent faith she can supply that.”
Who? To the best of my knowledge i’ve never seen this person in the Department before.
“Let’s fix the Department of Justice! Let’s fix America!”
By promoting a person who has apparently seen so much wrong, has had the power to change and right the wrongs, but who won’t do it unless she is given more Power?
How about no.
Most notably and with the most terrible effect, GobeBeingBanned is completely and utterly incapable of allowing people other than her to achieve success in the Department. Anyone she views as not agreeing with her to an almost fanatical degree is either dumb or corrupt. She has recorded history of actively acting out of spite to overrule people she does not like in anything they do. Perhaps most damningly, she rehired the most uncapable attorney in the Department simply because she did not like the person who fired him. If she is appointed to the office of Attorney General, the Department of “Justice” will turn into the Department of “Justice According to GobeingBanned, and no one else.”

You act like the office of the Associate Attorney General has infinite power, it does not.
"Right. That’s why in your time as Associate Attorney General, you’ve instituted no reforms, made zero changes in administration, and done nothing but argue and your power for personal gain or for argument’s sake."
The Associate Attorney General cannot act above the Attorney General, the Attorney General is in charge of placing reform on his Department. I would've changed many things about the Department by now, but I cannot, as many actions require the approval of the Attorney General.
"..and why aren’t you doing this now? Like, right now? You have complete power too. Go talk to Daniall and get to work on getting FBI involved in intelligence. Stop trying to get a promotion. "
Again, the Associate Attorney General does not have "complete power" and after talking to Yizzy about reform before he was director, he reformed the FBI in his vision. I would've completely reformed the FBI by now if possible, but it is not. The FBI Director in the end answers to the Attorney General, I am not the Attorney General.
"YOU DON’T COMMUNICATE WITH THEM EITHER. This entire point is moot since it’s something you should be doing either way and something that you don’t do right now. "
I am actually quite active in the affairs of the FBI.
"Higher ups in DoJ have no place in the prosecution of day to day cases. They should be administrating those who do - and that’s something that you never do. You don’t prosecute day to day cases either, so why should you expect your underlings too?"
Our current prosecutors to be quite frank, are not that good. The HiComm needs to take a much more active role in guiding them.
"You’re one of the most inactive people in the Department. When was the last time you did anything of note or original?"
Actually, I am by far the most active officer in the DoJ. I am on a lot more than Qolio, and a bit more than Sam. And again, my job isn't to change the Department as the associate attorney general, it is to administrate the department for the DAG and AG.
"You could fire abusive prosecutors right now. Sorry.”"
I actually have dismissed a few prosecutors, but dismissing the majority is up to the Attorney General.
You cannot blame me for the Department's problems, or it's lack of reform. The Attorney General is responsible for both reforming and fixing the department, I only manage what we have now.

Anyhow, I'm going to assume this is Ryan or Faux.
What have you done for the Department? Get fired? xoxoxox |
|

"You act like the office of the Associate Attorney General has infinite power, it does not."
The office of ASG is imbued with all powers of the Attorney General that he provides them. Therefore, if you asked, you could have as in your words "infinite" power.
"The Associate Attorney General cannot act above the Attorney General, the Attorney General is in charge of placing reform on his Department. I would've changed many things about the Department by now, but I cannot, as many actions require the approval of the Attorney General."
Above, no. Below, yes. I also find it interesting you still have not named a single "reform" that you want to enact.
"Again, the Associate Attorney General does not have "complete power" and after talking to Yizzy about reform before he was director, he reformed the FBI in his vision. I would've completely reformed the FBI by now if possible, but it is not. The FBI Director in the end answers to the Attorney General, I am not the Attorney General."
You have the powers of the Attorney General if he deigns to provide you with them. You're not allowed to complain about not having power to fix things when you make no effort to fix them.
"I am actually quite active in the affairs of the FBI."
>gives no evidence or anything you've done
"Our current prosecutors to be quite frank, are not that good. The HiComm needs to take a much more active role in guiding them."
And you rehired the worst prosecutor of them all simply because you did not like who fired him.
"Actually, I am by far the most active officer in the DoJ. I am on a lot more than Qolio, and a bit more than Sam. And again, my job isn't to change the Department as the associate attorney general, it is to administrate the department for the DAG and AG."
Your job is whatever the Attorney General says your job is, and when you have the ability to go out and ask and atleast try to make reforms happen. You may be more active than Blake, but Sam does far, far more than you.
"I actually have dismissed a few prosecutors, but dismissing the majority is up to the Attorney General."
Name some.
"You cannot blame me for the Department's problems, or it's lack of reform. The Attorney General is responsible for both reforming and fixing the department, I only manage what we have now."
I can and will blame you when you make no effort to fix the problems, make no specific plans for reform, then act entitled to the office of Attorney General.
Either way, i'm happy to say that you are definitely not going to become Attorney General. You never applied to Sudden's campaign and you don't campaign for executive positions. This makes your forum and your pitiful attempt at a power grab quite moot.

This is a concerned citizen. Or are you so stuck in your echo chamber of a Department that you can't fathom people from the outside have any intelligence? |

Your not any better skid
President of Iran, Samuel Robert Vincint. 7/3/16 - ?/?/? |

I cannot change the Department, the Attorney General has not given me the power to go and reform the FBI, I have asked in the past.
I have asked to reform in the past, and I got no answer or a "maybe ok"
You cannot blame me for the problems in the DoJ if I literally do not have the authority nor power to fix them. |
|
|
The Department of Justice needs an active leader, and a leader that is willing to make massive change. We do not have this right now, which is why I cannot change much. The Attorney General has /not given me the power/ to reform anything at this point, so I simply cannot. |
|
|
Odd that you can find the time and power to go behind the back of your colleagues but not the time or the power to effect change in the Department.
You still haven't named a single reform. |
|
|
"Odd that you can find the time and power to go behind the back of your colleagues but not the time or the power to effect change in the Department."
How do I go behind the back of my colleagues?
You keep going "gobe is evil and backstabs" but you don't supply a single instance that I've done this. |
|
|
My only goals are to ensure the success of this department, and if I have ever back stabbed someone, it was to ensure that the Department would continue to mature. |
|
|
Didn't say a word about backstabbery. Case in point is the employment of JedBartlett. |
|
|
JedBarlett is still employed because RyanRevan never gave him a reason as to why he was fired. |
|
|
Because obviously misconduct and general low aptitude aren't reasons. |
|
|
As far as I know, Jed was never told the reason of the dismissal. |

My bad than, I'll reissue his dismissal. |

By the way Gobeingbanned, you just lied to the public. Ryan told you in the Judicial Branch chat that he informed Jed why he was fired. You were infact shown the same picture I just showed you. |
