This rulebook will serve as a player’s handbook for their time in NRBL. This will most likely be often amended. ________________________________________________________________________________________ [ToC] Table of Contents I. Entry Into the League II. Trades/Releases III. Suspension System IV. Game Official V. Game Requirements I. Entry Into the League In order for a player to withhold an opportunity to participate in a team atmosphere, they must be in the group, JBL [NCAA], itself. Any “group spacing” is prohibited. Coaches themselves need to PM an HR to rank a free agent if the contract is accepted. ________________________________________________________________________________________ II. Trades/Releases Once a player is signed to a team, the future of their career is in the hands of the team organization. If a player is unhappy with a team, they cannot leave without an approved release. If they do so, they will be blackballed and dropped into the FA pool. Coaches are free to negotiate trades however they please, with or without a player’s consent. Ultimately, the only way for a player to get off a team is through an accepted trade or approved release. If a player has a valid reason to demand a release, a commissioner may force release them into the FA pool. ________________________________________________________________________________________ III. Suspension/Expulsion System A player can be suspended for many reasons, and these include but are not limited to: 1. Harassment of another associate 2. Disrespect/failure to accommodate to HR’s wishes 3. Racism/Ethnic Intimidation/Racial Slurs 4. Threats (real life, account, etc.) 5. Team Hopping (especially without administrative consent) The severity/occurrences of the offense can result in one of the following: 1. 1 game suspension 2. 3 game suspension 3. 5 game suspension 4. Season Leave 5. Expulsion from NRBL Suspensions are valid by administrative staff only. Suspensions are also valid on any form of NRBL property at any time (game, scrimmage, practice, conference, etc.) ________________________________________________________________________________________ IV. Game Official All games require a licensed JBL [NCAA] referee for it to be valid. Coaches cannot ref games, nor can any associates with a team. Any games refereed by someone other than an official referee are considered invalid. Board members may ref games should all officials be offline. ________________________________________________________________________________________ V. Game Requirements All games have specific requirements to be valid. These include but are not limited to: 1. 3 players on each team present (can be more) 2. Licensed referee 3. Scoreboard 4. Coaches for each team present (HC or AC, TC acceptable) 5. Presentable, distinct uniforms 6. PBL (NRBA) courts ________________________________________________________________________________________ Please note that this document is subject to amendment at any given time, and players are expected to be familiar with the terms and service of this organization. All players/clients of JBL [NCAA] are entitled to an enjoyable experience in a safe, welcoming environment. We encourage all basketball players to join the JBL [NCAA] to lift off their career as a PBL player. JBL [NCAA] is suitable for all types of players of all ages. We welcome you. -Commisioner NotoriousAK47
