▬Guide to the Temple Guard [Public] ▬
Greetings, I am Master Minor, an Overseer of the Temple Guard. This guide is meant for all of those in the order, and out, to understand the Temple Guard a little more.
Section I: Reporting the Temple Guard
Section II: Reporting to the Temple Guard
Section III: Provoking the Temple Guard
Section IV: Temple Guard arresting
Section V: Commanding the Temple Guard
Section VI: Joining the Temple Guard
▬ Section I: Reporting the Temple Guard
If you feel that the Temple Guards are doing something wrong, you may report them. Although you must follow the following steps:
Always go to the current Temple Guard leader first, make sure you have evidence of you doing so. Failure to not report to the leader will result in your voice not being heard.
When you have told the current Temple Guard leader and you think your problem has not be solved or dealt with, you may see the current Temple Guard overseers. Show the overseers that you have spoken to the current Temple Guard leader and they will try to resolve the matter.
Last thing you can do is call for a High Councilor meeting. This meeting must involve the overseer(s), Temple Guard leader and the Grand Master or the Senior Councilman.
It is recommended that you think about what evidence you provide, if you have any.
▬ Section II: Reporting to the Temple Guard
Sometimes the Temple Guard may not see something bad happening, so you may report to the Temple Guard at the server, remember not to agitate or annoy the Temple Guard. Anything that can be defined as annoying or provoking the Temple Guard may or may not get you arrested. Once the Temple Guard has acknowledged what you are saying, they will notify you of this. It is completely up to them whether they choose to do something about it - do not pester them if they are not sorting it out. Remember to only notify the Temple Guard if you want someone arrested, do not notify them if you want someone warned of an event, you have your Jedi Masters (Jedi Knight+) to go to for that.
▬ Section III: Provoking the Temple Guard
The Temple Guards are people too, just as you are, they can be just as easily provoked as anyone else. Provoking the Temple Guard and stopping them from doing their duties can lead to arrest or a kick from the server, followed with a ban. The Temple Guards have communications with the Overseer(s) and Temple Guard leaders and can let them know as soon as they are being bothered by someone, no matter who they are being bothered by.
▬ Section IV: Temple Guard arresting
The Temple Guard arrest all those who break the laws, it is up to you whether you read the laws and follow them. When you are being arrested you will be told the reason for arrest and if you resist arrest in any form (involving getting people to break you from the arrest or leaving the server etc.) you will be subject to even more jail time than you originally had. Do not barter with the Temple Guard on how long you are getting, getting arrested involves no discussion with the Temple Guard (see Section I if you think you are being unlawfully arrested). If you try and free someone from the cells or disrupt the Temple Guard whilst arresting, you are also subject to getting arrested yourself.
▬ Section V: Commanding the Temple Guard
The Temple Guards have specific leaders for reasons, meaning that they are not to be commanded by anyone but the following:
Temple Guard Officer(s)
Temple Guard Commander
Temple Guard Overseer(s)
Grandmaster
Nobody else is to Command the Temple Guards in any way, doing so will either result in being ignored or you will be treated as provoking the Temple Guard. It does not matter whether or not you are trying to help.
▬ Section VI: Joining the Temple Guard
Joining the Temple Guard happens in different occasions for different reasons. There are two ways to become a Temple Guard, joining through a try-out or being scouted and being privately tested by a high ranking Temple Guard. Asking for a try-out might extraordinarily decrease your chances of becoming a Temple Guard or it could earn you being scouted. It is your choice whether or not you take the risk.
Note: If there is something you wish to know and it is not on this guide, feel free to contact a Temple Guard of a High Ranking position.
