Good question
I'll ask around for you |

The only way currently to cast a shadow is by putting a humanoid into a part and then renaming said part to any part of a player (Head, Torso, etc.). The game will then read that part as part of a player and will have it cast a shadow. |

Maybe a semitransparent block covering the whole area.
Could emit smoke for extra effects |
|
|
+Make block a dark colour of your choice |
|
|
i thought you could put the Brightness of a Light negative
i.e.
SpotLight.Brightness =-1
I remember doing that and it worked.
I also could have just been having a dream. who knows, try it out.
with ROBLOX's voxel lighting system, it could be easy for an intern to work that in (maybe?) |

OMG NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT! Did you know, using negative integers on the scale options for Classic Meshes, you can turn them inside out OR flip them? |
