"wrong have you even been in stem" Experimenting with the concepts while you are not completing your program's assignments is my suggestion. Regarding Mathematics in particular, informality/lack of rigor can be very much useful when you are trying to understand a problem. It just needs to be balanced well. "Connecting The Dots," I believe.

@Dagger That's pretty much the reason I want to build things or program things as a profession, I used to play the game sandbox a lot on roblox and I built some cool things My favorite class in middle school was physical science (also band but it was a 0 period class, I keep my trumpet playing a hobby)

I heard a lot about snobs in the program and it is worrying me a bit because 1. I dont want to be stereotyped 2. I dont want to look like a stupid idiot in front of everyone (which was basically 5th-6th grade)

We don't have STEM at our school, I could probably get in if we did though. Siggy.exe has stopped responding.

Okay, what's important for you to know right now is to stop reading all other comments. I've been in the STEM program for 3 years now, and its exponentially better than other normal classes. The STEM program looks REALLY good on your college application. Colleges don't want someone who has AP classes 24/7, they want someone who is flexible, who can learn even more things in college, and someone who works good WITH OTHER PEOPLE, which is exactly what STEM does. STEM is great for your buildup for your personality, because one of the primary focuses of STEM is for students to work on something with someone else. This will greatly enhance your social life, probably making you have more friends and possibly a girlfriend/boyfriend. If ya didn't want to read all that, here's the tldr: don't leave the STEM program.
