The squad system that is in place has only been used once (and the squad was disbanded quickly). We are thinking of making jedi Generals able to host squads of troops that they can command. To do this a vote will be made. Reply to this forum saying either if you Approve or do not Approve. |

Not approve. Rebels should be able to do what they want. We fight WITH the jedi and not FOR the jedi. We ain't clones. We are rebels. We rebel. Personaly i would never want to be in a squad (period) I am a guerrilla warfare type of guy. I would like to fight as i wish. Plus there are more jedi generals (22) than (all rebels.) privite+ which is 28. And please don't argue with me and just say your points out. |

I agree with bye I don't want Jedi generals to own rebel squads. |

ATTENTION: I typed the title incorrectly. I mean that they can make their own squads for Rebels that may want to join. |

I disagree. I want rebels to be in charge of rebels when it comes to that matter. |

While I am not a Jedi Master+ I am a Jedi Consular and I will just express my opinions from what I see.
My opinion was to approve on it, the Resistance is strong but it takes other to make it stronger anyways Rebel soldier could learn a lot more about the Jedi's formation and how they operate and we can learn about the formation you use. Plus we can be a lot more confident to be not interfering in battle tactics to capture the center, flag etc. Just picture a squad with one's Skype. The bound in the squad could go as far as to help us Jedis in P-Y training while we help you in Rebel training. However if this was approves the question still remains whether or not the Jedi are doing a great job in leading the squad. |

Disagree, Rebels have commands that can be much more important than a Jedi Generals, I am assured that no Jedi Generals are smarter than rebels at commands since they only learn like a recruit and become a private, the only thing is that they are Jedi and wield lightsabers.

Remember that Captains-Colonels can own squads if you feel like making one. |

And silverorlon. I know that. I just wanted people to express their point and not argue. |

Personally, I know I am not allowed to vote on this, but I have a say on this matter. Like Commander Exro said, this is not mandatory. I understand that you do not fight for the Jedi, but we Jedi can be of great use when it comes to leading. Not all 20 something of the Jedi Generals will lead, because that would be useless. But I propose that at least 4-6 of them should be allowed. And I'm not sure how the HC will feel about this, but only Masters-Some Council members should be allowed to lead a squad, due to them already having enough responsibilities at the temple AND because I think that Masters are losing there point since not much have been happening for Masters. To remind you what was said, this is not mandatory, but it can offer you much much more experience on the battlefield, and can raise the activity of the Resistance more. And to add, it can improve the LORE around here.

I'm not part of this but that is a realistic portrayal.
Anakin had his own squad, as did most Jedi Masters/Generals.

I agree with Master A Austuki, it is true we are not allowed to vote in this but if you really wanted to decline this you really must look at how the HR are doing. The HR are losing their purpose slowly and like one Rebel said us Jedi only learned the basics of battlefield tactics but isn't part of a squad is to work as a team? Rebels and Jedis can learn a lot as one and theres no reason that someone part of the squad can tell more formations of the Rebels and suggest a battlefield tactic that could benefit the Order and Resistance. Also being part of the squad sharpens activity for both Jedi and Resistance as they are carried the burden of helping lead a squad or as a Master be the squad's leader. |

Plus what is the point of having Master+ lead Rebels when they can't even lead a squad they organize. |
|
|
i know i cant vote on this but this is my personal opinion.Jedi generals should be allowed to command there own squadrons. |
|
|
The thing is that the Resistance aren't Clones that just obey with a simple command because of a chip in their brain. |
|
|
All Jedi will but HUNTED DOWN and DEFEATED.

You should be able to not have to join a squad but maybe the rebels could make this another way to rank up in their systems.

Voting is closed Jedi Generals will not own squads but they will be able to have personal guards (look at the honor guard division forum for more information) |
