I write this thread to not only appeal to the consensus of C&G, but also Sleet Clan members. I wanted to address some of the issues involving “cheating” and other allegations made against SC (primarily myself). I will admit that I did cheat, but I’m not embarrassed to say this. I still realize that this is only a game, and I’m playing this game to have fun.
Nederlandz wrote an interesting thread about VAK starting this whole “cheating” phase of clans. It went into detail about how clans started to follow those ideals by resorting to cheating or changing their bases around so that they could win wars. Considering that thread Nederlandz made, you could say that I was influenced or resorting to desperate measures to win. I’ve worked under leaders that used to cheat during wars and get away with it, and I followed their path wrongfully. During the JC war, I did not cheat, but I did change the base (HARDLY) and no matter how little the change was I did break a war term. This was wrong, and I’m sorry to JC and their administration, I was looking towards a really fun war with you guys.
As for the rest of the allegations made against SC for cheating, I ask that you don’t blame SC as a clan. I made these mistakes. There are also threads being made regarding changing SC’s leadership, and I can tell you that’s not going to happen. I have been in SC for years and I’ve climbed up the ranks through all of Prag’s different eras, I’ve also been beside leaders that did well other than Prag like OwneD1991 and even Polymorphic when he held the group. I’m passionate about Sleet Clan, I never had any intention of scolding or tarnishing her name. I am sorry to the Sleet Clan HiCOM and those I left in the dark about this whole thing. This will not happen again.

Well, not necessarily, but understand that I've only ever had experience within Sleet Clan. This is the first time I've led a clan before. I suppose I've taken too many chapters out of other clan leader's books and made some dirty moves. |
